Hello! I've found that some meshes point to non-existing textures like tx_skeleton_skull_misc. I don't know if this was intentional, but for modders who'd like to use this resource pack out of the box, here are the tweaked meshes for it so that the meshes immediately point to vanilla textures.
I made the tweak for the mod Trophy Taker (highly recommended btw :D), which uses this resource pack. Enjoy!
Some suggestions: the Ash Ghoul skull is shaped more like an Ash Zombie in back, if you'd be willing to make a version without the cone shape. I would also make both heavily cracked in back, from expansion and shrinkage between stages. A cleft palate for Ghouls would be cool, too, to show how much damage the growing trunk does.
Also, Ash Vampire heads are quite a bit bigger than normal humanoid skulls. May want to compare the two models in NifSkope.
The cracks are an excellent idea, but its beyond my skills yet. I'm not really making good textures. I precisely shaped the ash ghoul skull like the ash zombie one. They have the same head after all (just not the same nose). So, I don't really get your point. Does the cone point too low? As for the ash vampire skull, I know (~10% longer, ~15% higher, 18-20% wider), but the result wasn't convincing (maybe with the cracks the deformation will look better). Putting the scale at 1.15 or 1.20 in Nifscope does the trick just fine. I can propose both and let everyone judge, if you want.
Have any mods incorporated these beauties yet? There is a mod which adds race-based trophies to corpses, like ears. These would go so well with such a type of mod(getting trophies from enemy npc etc)
Your right. No mod yet (as far as I know it), but your free to use it if you want to make a trophy-base one, or a goth vendor like the mod of Qarl and Cenobite. I'd be happy (just credit me as the resource author, blablabla).
Thanks ! Argonian skulls are a bit tricky. First, a "bald" skull is needed and then, I'll have to adapt all their horns (and maybe ears) onto it. It will take time to create everything.
But yes, I'm working on another set of skulls which may contain some reptilian ones (Argonian too), along with other creatures (Slaughterfish, Cliffracer, Deer, Goat, Cow... Deadra maybe).
I made them, some time ago: Ash Ghoul and Ash Vampire skulls. But they have some tex' issues I need to fix, if I can. "True vampire" skulls are a good idea, I'll think about it.

I would say post both methods. Ash Vampires have very distorted proportions in general, so a deformed skull would be quite fitting.

Endorsed.
But what about Argonian skulls? For the full set?

Edit: btw you have missing texture "tx_skeleton_jaw_misc.dds" in the ratman skull
Suppress the "_misc", it will work (tx_skeleton_jaw.dds is a vanilla texture).
