The mod uses pre-lua MWSE scripting to place the containers using variables, which vanilla MW script can't do. I don't know anything about OpenMW scripting, so I don't know if it can do that. When you drop the "container" Miscellaneous Item, scripts move the container from a storage cell to the exact location where the item was dropped. I don't remember what permissions I set, but if someone who knows OpenMW wants to make an OpenMW version of this, they're welcome to do it.
hi there! great mod: i have a problem, i have to make som reinstals in mods and, in anold file, the mod was off and lost the artifacts, so reinstal the mod: in tarys tomb the npc apears but no trace of the small chest ( althoug in a new save the chest and enemy was there) flasmarion location i couldn't find (maybe my error??) the dimensional basket i can find,... some console comand to spawn the containers?
The one in Falasmaryon is tricky to find. It's underwater in the sewer. The item IDs are pa_dc_smchest, pa_dc_lrgchest, pa_dc_basket, and pa_dc_sack. player->additem, (item ID), 1
thanks for answer! i will check in falasmaryon ( i have to do a masive re install and in the original savegame i save before turn the mod on an lost items, but in the new one it works fine) it was a long time since i fund the containers ( in fact i found the basket just yesterday) thanks for the quick answer!
maybe some problem in my saves? the chest in falasmaryon doesn't spawn, may be the rumor is necesesary for it? since i have the problem ith the spall chest don't spawning but the npc yes, aybe i have som kind of rpoblem, butu thanxs for the items ID, great mod indeed
The rumors aren't needed for the containers to spawn. Originally, you could only find them by stumbling across them, but someone suggested I add rumors to make them a little easier to find.
maybe some kind of glitch in my saves, as i said, i have a rought time updating tmariel rebuilt ( double characters, doule spawned doors, s*** like that) so, i will asume thath and not figth and spawn via console, maybe in a third run ill see, thanx for your time
For God's sake help me giving the locations of the 4 because I do not think any rumors and neither the four and worse and that I installed everything right
A rumor in Balmora points you to a nearby ancestral tomb. A rumor in Molag Mar points you to a cave in the area. A rumor in Tel Mora leads to a nearby Daedric ruin. A rumor in Maar Gan leads to a nearby Dunmer stonghold. The rumors are set to be the first ones you get when you're in those locations
There should be a hostile NPC in the tomb carrying one of the containers. The rumor mentions an adventurer losing the container in the tomb and planning to retrieve it.
I can confirm having used this mod recently and was able to get the "small chest" from the enemy NPC in Tharys Ancestral Tomb. I don't remember asking about asking in the rumours topic. I just generally head straight to Tharys Ancestral Tomb after delivering package to Caius in most of my playthroughs.
Seem to be having a crash related to the Dimensional Sack. I got the basket and that one seemed fine, but as soon as I picked up the sack I started getting frequent CTDs around opening my inventory or placing/picking up the sack.
Strange. I can pick up, put down, open, and close the sack, as long as I stay on the platform where it's found. As soon as I try to leave the platform with the sack in my inventory, I get a CTD. I'm going to have to look into this.
I have no idea what was causing the issue, but any Dimensional Container carried to the same location, put down, and then picked up would cause the same CTD. I've moved the Dimensional Sack to a new location, which doesn't seem to have the problem, and adjusted the rumor.
Anyone who got the original rumor and needs the new one can open the console and type set pa_dc_sarum to 0. That should reset the rumor. You still get it at the same town.
Tried this during my New Morrowind Mods stream and does what it says on the tin. Love the dialogue updates as well. Part of my July Morrowind mods highlights! Endorsed!
Hi, I'd like to see if this is one of those mods which works with OpenMW (it appears to load without errors). Could you please give a hint about the location of one of the containers in order to test?
Hello, I assumed you have read the description of this mod fully so, here is another thing to note; OpenMW does not support any functions or features added by external programs such as MCP or MGE XE , that includes MWSE. In other words, OpenMW only aims to replicate what the original Morrowind engine had and also adds a bunch of new features of its own.
tl;dr : openmw cannot run this mod, even though there are no error messages shown(actually there is , if you run in linux or mac).

Anyway, Tharys Ancestral Tomb, Maba-Ilu, Esutanamus, and Falasmaryon.
