The vanilla sound heard under the water (undrwatr.wav) lasts for 3 seconds while this added from the mod have for 4 minutes. This sound runs in the loop and it is right that 3 seconds is too little and it is too repetitive, but 4 minutes is completely meaningless, especially since the original has 352Kb / sec and this mode is 1536Kb / sec and stereo . The fact that it is stereo is fine, but the length and the excessive and unjustified high bit rate for a cluttered sound, anyway and without high frequency, is definitely a meaningless overload. I think 10 seconds with at most 512Kb/sec cuted from this sound is enough for result is the same without wasting resources.
I edited the Underwater audio file to a length of 15 seconds and mono. No idea how it sounds ingame, but I tried to make it loop correctly. http://www.mediafire.com/file/8huvz8cs7j3vgoi/Sea_of_Sound_v0.2_-_fixed_underwater_sound.zip/file
Thank you for the lovely mod! It works perfectly and the page for it was arranged nicely and clearly demonstrated its function. I find that the default water sounds are very harsh on my ears and make it hard to focus or play the game at all. I also prefer playing near-vanilla when it comes to graphics and audio, and because of that I don't personally want to use audio overhaul mods. This works perfectly for me, though!
Very thankful to this modder, CptJoker71. This mod is a prime example of a GOOD morrowind nexus addition. It is built properly -- you can use NMM for the mod to install it safely and easily. It makes a small change to the game, and so the modder has incorporated a video showcasing the differences. This is exactly the kind of content that all other modders should follow to make this community strong again.
