    Im new to modding and entirely lost by how to install this. From what im understanding I need to do the morrowind patch code because im on steam, i also need to put in the update file from the MCP beta, then i need to put the mwse stuff in, then lastly the dynamic difficulty stuff. Then run programs in this order: MCP, MWSE then i should be able to start the game?. Also want to clarify that these all go in the normal install file and NOT in data files. There are also points where it asks if u want to replace files or skip when adding in all these mods into the same folder. I tried both ways and while it appears the MCP 2.5 is working i dont think anything else is. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    EDIT: On the attempt when I replaced the files instead of skipping it simply make my game crash after a minute and it never opened again and had to entirely wipe and reinstall. But since skipping didnt work so idk

      When you're new to modding, take your time. The most important tools are MCP, MO2, MGE XE, Mlox, BSAReg, WryeMash and TES3Merge. Every single one of these masterpieces takes some time to be familiar with until you know what you are doing. But if you don't know what you're doing it's a recipe for desaster...

    I had hoped the regions would come with preset difficulties on the sliders, I'm not 100% knowledgeable on the regions and what they contain, so having something preset would have been nice. I get that the Ashlands should be higher, but I've never even been to the tamriel rebuilt areas and don't know which are supposed to be scary areas or not.

    For anyone wondering I found out you can put difficultly above 100 in the game using this mod without using level scaling. If you open the mcm.lua file(I just used notepad++) in this mod you can can the values of the sliders in the game to what ever you want.

    Just find the part of the code that looks like this and change the bold values to what ever you want.

     -- Config: Base Difficulty.
        createConfigSliderPackage({
            parent = mainPane,
            label = "Base difficulty:",
            config = this.config,
            key = "baseDifficulty",
            min = -100,
            max = 100,
            step = 1,
            jump = 10,
            onUpdate = updateCalculationLabel

    An experience I remember fondly is dying to a mudcrab at level 1.This will allow me to duplicate that while feeling stronger at higher levels. I actually prefer a reverse difficulty curve for Morrowind to what people usually like--harder to easier--so I'm glad that was taken into consideration.

      I must be missing something obvious...how does one set the sliders so that the game gets easier as you level?

    Sucks not having this for OpenMW. Feelz like cheating touching the Diff Slider.
    I Allways set it to 100(Which makes the game grindy AF) then feel like s#*! when I inevitably turn it down lol
    A hands off curve would make the experience less grindy, while still requiring some thought.
    Shame.

    this definitely is a game changer for morrowind, but why cant we have this for skyrim???

    its not fair!

    (yes i know the difficulty system of skyrim is a little different, but it can still be done)

    Thank you! This mod together with Master Training Manuals is a big improvement for gameplay. Finally (infinite) leveling doesn't result in overly weak enemies.

    Great mod! However I can't figure out wether regional difficulty sliders are independent from global or on top of it?

    Works as advertised. Simple and nice to not have to manipulate the difficulty manually.
