The quest in Vivec where you track down an Ordinator killer and are rewarded by an Ordinator officer with Ordinator gear... And if you put it on they try to kill you.
I had considered that, actually, but figured if the mod was written in OpenMW that it either wouldn't work without it, or it would with errors/issues. I've never used OpenMW, honestly, so I'm not at all familiar with it. But I'l give changing the file type a try, thanks!
(Apologies for double posting) I gave the renamed file a try, and I can't tell if it's working properly or not. I started a new game, used the console to join the Temple and max out my rank, gave myself full Indoril armor and talked to an Ordinator. He gave me the usual, "You'll pay in blood for wearing our sacred armor!" speech, but didn't attack me. Does this mod only stop them from attacking, and not remove that dialog?
No, because I'm on Linux and I'm not going to mess with wine to get an inferior and obsolete engine running for testing and developing when OpenMW is available from the repositories and is the future anyways.
"Inferior and obsolete," right... Because OpenMW has so many more features than vanilla with MWSE. Totally. That's why four years after your post "the future" is still the less popular option.
1. Completed the "certain quest" 2. Put on the cuirass 3. Spoke to the quest giver, who is an ordinator but didn't mark me for death. 4. Decided to remove the cuirass from my inventory and add pauldrons, so I wouldn't get attacked. 5. Somewhere within the next few hours I'm marked for death. No idea why or how, but even if I'm stark naked I cant talk to ordinators without them attacking me. 6. Downloaded and activated this mod using OpenMW. 7. Still getting attacked whenever I speak to ordinators.
Edit: I just realized you made this post in January, so you probably won't see this and I'm probably just screwed. Lol...
So I notice that somebody else opened the floor for this, but does this apply only to the helm and cuirass or all indoril armor? I like the armor set in its entirety but I usually only use the pauldrons by endgame. If this is the case, could you please update it, or could somebody point me to a mod that's already achieved this?
Additionally how is this installed, I've never seen these filetypes before
Tested it out using OpenMW. Doesn't seem to work at all for me.To be fair, I downloaded this mod AFTER I was marked for death and after I already completed the "certain quest" mentioned in the description.
I'm not even wearing the cuirass or helmet. I'm wearing the pauldrons. I don't get attacked on sight but I can't talk to ordinators without getting attacked. Starting to think this may be a mod conflict. Does anyone know if Morrowind Rebirth alters the ordinator script?
I really don't want to lose this save. If I have to I'll dig into the construction set and remove the scripts myself. I just need to know what they're called.

FINALLY, a mod that does all three in one. :)
Any chance of releasing a non-OpenMW version?
Linux lol
