Is this mod compatible with Uvirith's Legacy? Uvirith's Legacy has a library that organises books automatically on bookshelves. Does MMM change the shape of the books in any way that might affect this?
Getting back into Morrowind after two years and if I wasn't so rusty I wouldn't have to ask this, but....in what order should I install Magnificent Manuscripts, Arukinns Better Books and Scrolls, and Book Jackets (MW + TB + BM)? I'm also using Switchable Scriptures, if that matters.
Uploaded some screenshots that show the before and after of scrolls, so waiting for your approval, also a screenshot of the new edge for books which is much brighter haha!
Totally love your mod! You should do some for notes and plain paper, some of those old vanilla meshes are not very efficient :)
How scrolls look after the install? If this doesnt change the book covers but the meshes, it would be great, but still doubting a bit on the art chosen for the scrolls as I can not see it, so some screenshots would be great!
I sadly have a very slow computer and changing textures takes a while, so some scrolls showing all the new textures would be great!
Ahhh I see, will try it on! Was confused at first due to seeing the dds directly and seeing them full of writing, since scrolls come closed was my cause of the confusion!
Really enjoying all your mods MelchiorDahrk!
Have added several of your mods to my load order, you really have a ton of very good mods!
This is a great mod mate. I have never seen a book mesh replacer for Morrowind, only textures.
I have a semi-related question though. Any particular reason why its apparently impossible to make book models smaller? I was always bothered by giant Morrowind books. There is one mod out there (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44848) which tries to do this but leaves all books floating in the air.
It's not "impossible" per se, just an enormous undertaking just for the base game where someone would have to reposition every single book in the game. And where it becomes unmanageable is when you consider that every mod ever made (or that ever will be made) which places a book in the world will become automatically incompatible with the replacer.
Damn, that does sound like a pickle. How exactly does the game handle player item drops? Like if you put down an item, it's always(?) perfectly aligned with the floor or shelf. Makes me wonder if it's possible to program something to locate every book model and realign it with its environment, sort of like a rudimentary physics engine. Yacoby's Mesh Generator has a similar function for dynamic static placement.
How well does this new patch work with the Book Rotate version of Book Jackets? I suspect it'll be fine but would rather get the all clear before installing.
Forgive the dumb question, but is there any reason this would not be compatible with Book Jackets? The models look excellent, but I love having unique covers on my books. Thank you for your hard work, regardless!

Any thoughts?
Thanks for your time. :)
Something like, 1: MMM, 2: BB&S, 3: BJ, 4: MMM BJ compatibility?
Thanks, input is appreciated!
BJ -> MMM -> BB&S -> SS

Glad you like the mod though. :)
