    It's not relevant for Morrowind, but forked arrows were specialized arrowheads usually used to cut ropes or cut down enemy banners for morale purposes. The inner edges were sharp, and the wide fork made it easier to hit and cut the rope. Historically, they were called "frog crotch arrows" in Japan.

      Thank you! I saw the rumours of usage pertaining to horses but it did not sound right. Ropes and banners do make more sense.
