Load an old save game where you still have him, open console, click on him, on the top of the console you see a title, which is his ObjectID, write it down. Load savegame, open console write and press enter after it: placeatpc "objectid" 1 1 1

using placeatpc will place a new copy of the NPC, it will break most vanilla-scripted companion mods as they often use companion-unique-reference specific commands. if you are on MWSE-Lua you can use e.g. the cheat mod (look for Olyn) to teleport the player to the original NPC reference if the reference is still available
Olyn won't level up, unless I just don't understand what I'm looking at. When I use the getlevel command on Olyn it comes back at 1.00 despite me being level 20 and having levelled many times since gaining Olyn as a companion. What gives? Any ideas how to get him to level up to my level?
I generally appreciate companions with a history and personality, so Olyn Hleran was an automatic download upon navigating back to Morrowind. So far, I really like him, and I think he should be a good compliment to the LGNPC Redoran quests.
Just a question. Can he Recall or use Intervention spells? When I used Almsivi Intervention he didn't follow me, and I haven't seen any options in his dialogue topics. I did install Olyn into an existing game; I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
Glad you are enjoying Olyn so far. We had limited time to create Olyn so his help and dialogues only pertain to vanilla Redoran quests. He has Grumpy's companion script so no, Olyn doesn't know to teleport with you. He'll travel with you though. I never play without Melian's teleportation mod https://rd.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43753 that includes the option to have ALL you companions teleport with you be it recall or intervention.
Thanks for the quick reply. I have used Melian's teleportation mod in the past, and found it somewhat buggy, but I'll give it another look. Alternatively, I can also just use Emma's Vvardenfell Travel Agency. Either way, it's not a big issue, I just wanted to check and make sure I hadn't overlooked anything. Cheers! :)
I'm not sure if this is an OpenMW issue, but Olyn won't equip his gauntlets and boots for some reason. He's just running around barefoot, no matter what equipment I hand him :p
Typically npcs will prefer to wear nothing if their unarmoured skill is greater than light/medium/heavy armour. In Olyn's case however, he is a warrior and he should prefer any armour to nothing. His levels and skills scale with yours, so if your character is level 1, it could be that Oly's has greater armour without the boots and gauntlet. Have you tried other types of armour?
Edit: Not liking the splice Redoran/Tribunal armor. Thinking of editing my version out with a real Redoran helmet, if the mod doesn't explain it in-lore.

Hmm ok. Funny thing is, my unarmored skill is definitely much lower than my light or medium armor (both are >90).
Does it have something to do with me recruiting him AFTER I already joined House Redoran, and am already level 40?
I'll do a little testing and comment to let you know if I find anything!
