New in Version 2.0, this mod now uses MWSE Lua to automatically update the container size for not just the vanilla game, but every modded container, and be automatically compatible with other mods that edit these containers by adding scripts to them (e.g. Animated Containers) without needing any patches! All thanks to the power of MWSE Lua.
Version 1.0 has been left available for legacy purposes.
Sup fellas, Im playing at mobile (openmw 0.47) and I got this problem when Im using your mod 1.0 ofc, dlc content are cut from merchants. Any idea how to fix this?
The issue is that both mods are trying to edit the same record, so you need to create a patch that combines both changes to the record. You can use a program like Delta Plugin or Habasi or various other older programs to automate the process.
Update: I realized my problem was that I was using modded player homes. In case anyone is interested, I edited the v1.0 plugin to include the Ashpit Retreat and Simpler Balmora Player Home containers:
It doesn't work on every container in every mod. Some containers in Alladin's Bottle Revamp stay at 25 units. I emptied them, installed mod again and no change.
Not working for me. Downloaded / installed / checked the boxes in my house and they still dont fit more. Using the House of the murdered dark elf in Balmora. Stuff was already placed there. Will it only affect new boxes in new locations? Or do I need to unload it, reload cell and then return to have the effect?
Excellent! This is perfect for what I needed! I just started playing with Morrowind Rebirth and the house with "more storage space than I'll ever need" had a pathetic amount by the most forgiving standards and I wasn't sure if it would be safe to just toss an extra room with storage into Caius' house like I usually do.
I'm glad this mod can help! Yeah, running out of storage space is just annoying. I'm a major hoarder in this game and I felt like that was something TES4 did right in comparison. Have fun playing!
Seriously! I am so grateful. I've been using the shop in Seyda Neen and have just filled the entirety of the ground floor. I just started going into dwarven ruins and found my first home, only to find out that storage is incredibly limited. It DOES make sense that I cannot fit all my armor in a small sack, but it doesn't make sense to have all my stuff laying on the ground of the local tradehouse lol. Now i can finally transfer all my goods to my own home!
Considering that the new version uses MWSE that isn't surprising. Hopefully someone will make a similar mod for OpenMW players in the future. The OpenMW team are currently working on adding Lua scripting support to the engine (not MWSE-Lua compatible) that may allow modders to do the same kind of thing for us.
You could try using the legacy version of this mod but then you'll need to remember that that version only works on vanilla containers and may conflict with other mods that try to edit containers in the world.
