What spell do I need to cast to win this staring contest, I've casted about every spell I have and dropped ingredients on the floor, apparently I need to make him sneeze.
I don't think you are supposed to cast a spell. You just stop staring at him. The questgiver tells you the story of the two guys that have looked at each other for years. I think that was intended to tell the player that it would be better not to do that
... haven't read the spoiler ... but i drank a paralyze myself potion and let go of the mouse. I think it was just leaving my mouse still for long enough. This was hilarious, by the way... i truly think that Sheo would do this sort of stuff to the other shrine goombas.
I adore this mod! Don't know why it took me so long to find it. Quick question though. I'm doing okay so far on other quests but the pyrolalia one (can not hear the fire) has me thrown.
SPOILER WARNING (cause i don't know how to hide spoilers)
I tried a certain firelover's spell and they reacted to it but said they still couldn't hear the fire.
The puddle is behind of some daedric walls in front (right?) when you exist the shrine. You will need an area spell to solve i guess. I use one touch ring with area effect. I just put a item as target
This mod is not bad at all. I enjoyed it. I think there is a quest that is art
Spoiler:
Show
the king of mournhold
and should be experienced because it is very very cool.
I'm wondering three things: 1) After you've nominated the new high priest, are there any other quests left? 2) Are there quests I may be missing on other shrine? 3) How do I heal the deaf man? I casted
Spoiler:
Show
fireball on him, but it didn't work
Some things to report: 1) Ulani was hostile in my game, together with his friend. I had to use Chamaleon glitch (if you have chamaleon 100 you can talk with hostile people with no issues) and then I just used "Setdisposition 100" and was done with it. Ironically, the calm spell didn't work on either of them. 2) After finishing the pants quest, if you ask the girl about them, you get in a loop and you have to close morrowind. 3) After choosing the guard as new high priest, I got a dialogue where he told me he was from colovia and we talked about the hat. Didn't happen with the talky breton. I exported the dialogue and I noticed there are also some dialogues with the dark elf concerning the hat, so I think it's intended that the breton seem to have fewer?
I believe you've played all of it, other shrines only had some spell trainers or maybe bits of dialogue, What you tried with the deaf man sounds right. Sometimes changing states of openMW used to make some fire spells stop working in some quests but I thought that fixed? Loops too but I'll make note of it
Haven't tried, assuming it just modifies Ald Daedroth instead of yoinking you from there into a different place I think the worst that could happen is getting outdated mentions in dialogue and fewer hints during a couple quests
Checked in Enchanted Editor, and looks like it indeed replaces vanilla Ald Daedroth with new cells. But I remember, those three-four vanilla NPCs and a scamp from main quest are still present. I'll test it and see.
Just letting anyone know, if you are running Great House Dagoth and Immersive Madness, there appears to be a slight conflict in areas with Sixth House NPCs, such as Subdun. When you go there during the "Dream Irruptions of Red Mountain" and run into the Dagoth at the end, you will get both mod's dialogues. I highly recommend playing all the way through GHD before starting IM, because...
*SPOILER* If you have to kill a Dagoth, like you have to in Subdun for IM, you will get kicked out of GHD, but if you've played through it already then it doesn't really matter. There's an obvious end to GHD (think Red Year, but not), and nothing past that really. Just try to get them to attack you first, if you can.
Can also flee instead of killing Dagoth, and see there is dialogue for players that progressed enough in sixth house but can't say if it'll fire in a given sixth house mod

I could use a little hint if that's cool.
So, review time on 26/02/2023.
