Mod is good houses look really nice and all but my main issue is that after purchasing the house your quest about it doesnt end and is stuck forever in your Journal + after buying it and asking about the topic again the you will receive another key on and on again. Mod is good but needs more polishing to be really recommended.

I've found you can close the quests by doing in the console for the respective house quest:

      Journal, "NX9_ARHouse", 40
      Journal, "NX9_BalHouse", 40
      Journal, "NX9_SMHouse", 40

Do this after you've received the key, and it'll complete the quest.

While I really enjoy this mod, there is one major issue I have with it. It seems all of the containers are marked as owed by player, Well sadly the way this games works, something owned by "player" is not actually owned by the player. So any items you store in the containers will be considered stolen from "player" and be confiscated by the guards.

Hey, I have installed the mod and it works, apparently. The houses are there and I can enter them by unlocking the door. My problem is, the NPCs selling them didn't spawn. I looked for their locations in the showcase video, so I know where they should be, but they aren't there.
I'd be glad if someone could come up with a solution for this, as I love this mod and I'd really like to use it properly.

P.S. I'm using OpenMW, could that be a problem?

Edit: I found a fix. I had used the German version. When I switched to English, the NPCs were there.

Like the previous commenters, I adore this mod. I got it specifically for the Ald'Ruhn house because I have always loved the look of Redoran architecture as well as joining House Redoran. The price is steep, yet fair. The house is also not too cluttered, yet it is decorated. But Skart1 is right, the prevalent journal entries are annoying. If you wish to make the journal entries finish like a normal quest, I did a relatively short video tutorial here. It should be simple enough to figure out even if you aren't well-versed in any Bethesda modding tools.

If NazoX9 ever comes back to the mod and wishes to implement a similar fix, he has my full permission to use my method without credit. The mod is perfect by itself and this was clearly just a small oversight.

I would also highly recommend doing a save before buying any of the houses before editing the plugin, just to ensure that everything works and is above-board. For the record, however, I did this fix after already buying the house in Ald'Ruhn and it was successful.

Just want to say; Finally someone has made a housing mod that suits me perfectly. After ten years across five Bethesda games my search is over. Regular houses have been few and far between. Thank you, NazoX9.
