I’m so glad someone made a mod for this! I just makes too much sense that Daedric weapons and armor would be literally one of a kind, if not extraordinarily rare (at least not before the Oblivion Crisis!) I will use this next time I play.
I know I’m late to the party here but anyone tell me if Jim Stacey keeps his Daedric shortsword in this? One of my favorite memories from Morrowind was getting jumpscared by him of all people whipping out his Daedric sword the first time I actually played through the Fighters Guild after having done the Thieves Guild and Bal Molagmer every time before. I already thought he was such a cool character and this made him even cooler. So maybe it’s silly, but I’d hate for him to lose it!
If this mod does move the Daedric shortsword somewhere else instead it’s nbd, I’ll just go into the creation kit and see if I can’t move it back to Stacey instead, if only for my own nostalgia lol
Hello there! I'm doing a new playthrough right now and wated to give this mod a try. But it got to my mind this has to be incompatible with Mines and Caverns, right? I guess the placements of the weapons will not work anymore with the expanded/overhauled dungeons. Would it be possible for You to make a compatibility patch? I love the concept of this - and combined with the lovely dungeons from M&C it would be perfect...
its actually pretty compatible, I checked and most of my edits aren't even in the same cells. the only thing is if mines and caverns adds additional daedric items which I don't think it does.
even if it does you'll have two daedric spears or whatever which isn't the end of the world
I know my request goes beyond the scope of this mod, but I thought I would try my luck: is there any chance for an alternate version where the mod removes all "farmable" daedric equipment? I can do it myself, from what I've seen I would need to delete everything from the Complete.esp with the exception of the Leveled Item entries, the db_assassin3 and db_assassin3a NPC entries, and the Staada entry (just because it was assigned an appropiate reward).
This is a great mod, but I'm a bit confused as to the files section. If I'm understanding it correctly, if I want every single change you've made to the game, I'd go for "Oneofakind daedric combined complete", correct?

Not yet, I plan on making another one similar to this as a separate mod. For the most part daedric armor is rare enough already. The only question is how I would handle Divayth Fyr
I'd just keep Fyr as he is. His daedric getup is just too iconic, and if one's willing to kill him for the armor... You just can't stop people like these
