Disontinuing for 2 reasons besides inactivity - 1 is technical, can no longer build automated backwards compatible updates for unlogged TR cell name changes (mod content seems reordered) - 2 is obsolescence, the OpenMW future is here with newer mods so it looks like this mod's hardcoded list method is no longer necessary The last compatible plugin for Tamriel rebuilt was for TR 21.01 version. Newer versions will not be compatible.
v1.3 - Made adjustments for the new add-ons supporting Skyrim Home of the Nords and Province: Cyrodiil betas. The menu display needs to be slower to accommodate all these cells in add-on format, so if you don't need support for the province mods you can stick to v1.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
Take your spell, potion or enchanted item and look at the name of the spell effect. If the effect is called "Greater Mark" or "Greater Recall", the mod is working. If the effect is called "Mark" or "Recall", you're either using a spell or item added by a mod, or a mod that overwrites MultiMark by editing the spell or item. Users of "Morrowind Rebirth" for instance will need to move MultiMark after it in their loadlist. If the effect is called something else, you have a conflict with another mod that uses sEffectSummonCreature04-05. Custom spells and enchantments created before installing the mod would not get updated to the new effects. All addons need to load later than the main mod.
If we're using the esp from "Multiple Teleport Marking Mod (OpenMW and TR and provinces) TR 2101 update," do we still need to also use the esps from "Province Cyrodiil Stirk August 2018 Plugin," "Skyrim HotN January 2021 Plugin," and "Uvirith's Legacy plugin" alongside it, if we are using all those mods? I'm not sure what's built-in at this point.
Yes, "Multiple Teleport Marking Mod (OpenMW and TR and provinces)" only had the TR 2101 part built-in, "provinces" just meant it supported large province plugins, but it will not be compatible with latest TR
No, I could build a different one without backwards compatibility but there's no point in using hardcoded lists anymore. See updated sticky message above and this mod
Very helpful mod. Sometimes it has interesting side effects, certain places in TR send me not where I Marked when I try to Recall there, but overall, a couple of performance flubs I can totally blame on my mages overextending themselves (for RP purposes, you know) is completely worth being able to Mark home AND Creeper AND Caius' place AND the Urshilaku camp AND wherever else I have to get back to either often enough to warrant a Mark or hard-to-find enough to warrant a Mark, and I still have Marks left over! Like, I will take imperfect-but-amazing any day.
Sorry if this is dumb, but does this not work with MWSE? It says at the bottom of the page that you can use the other version if you have MWSE, but that one is more complicated and has other requirements. I had hoped that this mod being vanilla compatible would allow it to work with MWSE, but given that I can't get it to work, I find it unlikely. Please let me know if I have missed something.
Love this mod, but for me with OpenMW I'm having some minor issues with enchantments.
Before installing the mod, I found an Amulet of Recall and created an Amulet of Mark. The Amulet of Recall has the Greater Recall effect and works fine, but the Amulet of Mark has the old Mark effect and also works like the old Mark (i.e. I cannot select a slot to save it in).
I tried creating a new amulet, but to my surprise when I talk to an enchanter I don't see the Mark or Recall spells listed (nor do I see Greater Mark or Greater Recall), even though I have Mark and Recall in my spell list, and casting them successfully gives the Greater Mark and Greater Recall effects.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I've disabled all mods except this one, and I still get these issues. Though as a workaround, using player->additem "amulet of mark" 1 gives me a new Amulet of Mark with the Greater Mark effect working correctly, but it's annoying that I have to cheat to get this working :-(
I don't know the root cause, but what you could try is removing the spells and readding them and see if they appear: player->removespell mark player->removespell recall
Then player->addspell mark player->addspell recall
I have searched far and wide for a solution to my problem so I am hoping by posting here, someone will be able to suggest something else.
The tooltip for both my Mark and Recall spells only say "sEffectSummonCreature04" and "sEffectSummonCreature05". From what I can tell, this is from an incompatible mod utilizing these unused spell slots but I cannot find what mod could be conflicting.
I followed the modding-openmw One Day Modernization guide very thoroughly and have a fully working install aside from MultiMark it seems. I am using Tamriel Rebuilt and as such am using the OpenMW + TR version of MultiMark. Multimark is at the bottom of my load order along with its plugins below that. To the best of my knowledge I don't have any mods installed that use the extra spell slots.
Ditto, been like that for months. I imagine we missed some cleaning or something, but the mod seems to function fine for me, other than the visual error. Is the mod working for you?
hey, was setting up that modlist too and interestingly it seemed to correct itself to Greater Mark/Recall after removing vurt's groundcover. switched over to aesthesia + rems. (i also installed balmora overhaul, but i doubt that's what fixed it?)
IIRC the original mod was always a great detector of GMST contamination. When a mod wasn't clean it would include many default parameters that it had nothing to do with and write over other mod edits. This sounds like something similar that could come from an unclean plugin of any sort.
Correct. There is GMST contamination in a mod included in "One Day Morrowind Modernization" -- Pickpocket Rebalance. Clean this mod and recreate the Delta Merge patch, and the issue is resolved.
The link for the Companion Teleport patch on the Opwnmw forum is dead. Does anyone have the file to reupload? It would be a shame for that patch to be lost!
Edit: Actually the patch in the optional files on this page totally works with the OpenMW version of Companion Teleport.
