SENTINEL
a haunted castle ruin
Description:When the Empire first took hold of Vvardenfell, it placed lone watchtowers or Sentinels in strategic places; most were soon abandoned as the wastes proved unmanageable, the smuggling was not curbed by their presence and the troops were needed elsewhere.
Somewhere in the West Gash above Gnisis there are the ruins of such a Sentinel.
Some say they are haunted, then again who knows what may be found there?
Perhaps even a hideout for yourself? Hint, there is one haunt you
probably wish to keep...
I always enjoyed the ruined Castles of my native Germany and wanted to create a mod of a ruin for some time;
when I came across this high rock in the West Gash I could just picture a Castle on it. I am very happy with the results and I hope you are too.
There are hidden areas to explore and a neat background story, and I think a nice medium size place to stay and stow your loot from nearby bandit caves. The Castle itself has some nice loot too, and a unique teacher!
INSTALLATION:
I recommend to use NMM via manual download, that is download manually to desktop then use NMM to install from there; or
download manually and extract the files in the folder to the
corresponding files in the Morrowind Data folder.
Cleaned with Enchanted Editor.
Changelog:
Added a couple more Ghosts and made all Ghosts a bit tougher.
Added some dead adventurers.
Made the hidden backdoor to the Armory a bit more "hidden".
Finished up detail on exterior.
V 1.3
Fixed the ghost ability spell so it is now available from the ghost.
Added a number of other handy spells to the ghosts menu.
The hidden wall door now is really hidden.
Fixed a small gap under arch on tower top with blocks.
V 1.4
Worked over all the spells the ghost offers; removed some changed a couple,
removed the Auto calculate on all of them. Hopefully this will fix the
fireball problem some people reported, but I could not duplicate.
V 1.5
Now requires Tribunal and features the following additions.
Added a recall ring for the tower, and gave the ghost teleport travel to Mournhold (foryou)
Added a book of rare artifacts.
Changed the dialogue on the ghost quite a bit.
Added a chandelier in the study.
Added some pillars and boulders to the cave, and also a spring and some water.
Changed the interior lighting to a warmer tone.
Cleaned again with Enchanted Editor.
Many thanks to Darkelf for help with getting the transport ring to work!
Fixed a minor glitch with not being able to activate secret door from Study to Armory.
Special Note:
I will upload all my mods from "yesteryear" to the Nexus over the next few weeks. All these mods I created as "Thondur" and
were previously hosted only on "Planet Elder Scrolls" where they have
been sitting for years.

Please understand that for now the mods are presented "as is" and I do not mod for Morrowind at the moment; in fact it has been so long that I do not
even remember how I did some things I created in these mods. If there are any Bugs they willhave to wait or you have to fix them yourself. Fair warning. It is my hope to "get back into the game" as it were one of these days as I still care a great deal for this great game. While I mod and play mostly in Skyrim now, Morrowind will always have the strongest emotional connection with me. Exploring it for the first time is an experience that will stay with me forever.
