**** STOTSP - NoM Compatibility v1.0 ****

-----------
Description
-----------

Solstheim Tomb of the Snow Prince is a brilliant overhaul of Solstheim, however there is a major incompatibility with Necessities of Morrowind - there are significant landscape and object conflicts with Fort Frostmoth (large tears in the landscape behind Frostmoth, the Mouldy Horker half buried, etc). I always use NoM in my playthroughs but also wanted to use STOTSP, and when I couldn't find a patch to let me play these together I set out to create my own.

------------
Mod Overview
------------

This mod consists ONLY of an edited version of NoM 3.0.esp - you will need the original mod assets by Taddeus (you can download them from here: http://mw.modhistory.com/download-53-12114 )

The edits to this esp are as follows:

- two landscape cells have been removed with Enchanted Editor (specifically -22, 16 and -22, 17) - removing these looks to have resolved the landscape tears behind Fort Frostmoth.

- I have endeavored to remove or relocate the conflicting objects such as trees and rocks that conflict with the Mouldy Horker and the shop, with a bit of landscape smoothing to unblock the door and uncover the well. I also had to remove a cliff behind the new docks from STOTSP as the back of the cliff poked through the front of the Mouldy Horker once I smoothed the landscape, but it doesn't look too out of place as I've relocated a few rocks to that location.

------------
Requirements
------------

This modd requires:

- Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon (I won't be making a version that doesn't require Tribunal, sorry)

- Solsteim Tomb of the Snow Prince by wollibeebee (http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42979/? )

- Necessities of Morrowind 3.03a by Taddeus (http://mw.modhistory.com/download-53-12114 )

------------
Installation
------------

Replace the original Nom 3.0.esp in your load order with the edited version in this archive.

--------------
Uninstallation
--------------

Replace the edited version of Nom 3.0.esp in your load order with the original NoM 3.0.esp from Taddeus.

------------
Known Issues
------------

There are three main issues I haven't been able to resolve, as I was able to delete the objects succesfully in the Construction Set, however they still appear in game. These are as follows:

- There is a floating tree behind the Mouldy Horker that used to sit on the cliff I removed. This can easily be disabled via the console.

- There is a floating banner high up in a tree inside Fort Frostmoth. This can easily be disabled via the console.

- There are several "barrier posts" on the path to the Mouldy Horker, however these don't really look out of place, so they can be left as is or easily be disabled via the console.

----------
Load Order
----------

This replaces the original NoM 3.0.esp so should be placed in the same position in you load oder.

----------
Disclaimer
----------

I'm not a modder, just a fan who wanted to get these two mods playing nice together in my game, so there may be issues I haven't addressed. If you find something that isn't correct please let me know, and I'll endeavor to fix it when I have the chance. This applies only to my landscape and static edits and not to NoM functionality.

On matters of this mod requiring cleaning I will defer to Taddeus in that no further cleaning is recommended (as per the original NoM release). You are free to clean the mod yourself if you wish.

This mod works for me and my load order, however YMMV. I don't see why it shouldn't work for others.

-----------
Permissions
-----------

This was originally made for personal use, however on the off chance that someone may find this useful in their game I have made this publicly available with the blessing of wollibeebee (STOTSP) and with the kind permission of Taddeus (NoM), who was also generous enough to review my edit of NoM for any problems before release.
