Hey it's me, the creator of Magicka Recalculated. I now have a discord for all things related: https://discord.gg/BKp6aBx

If you have some wondering regarding the mod, its compatibility, or just general Morrowind and Morrowind modding, come on down!

Hey could you check compatibility between this and Potential Character Progression?

How does this mod work with Improved Vanilla Leveling (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48065) ? I ask this because this mod takes into account increases to Int during level up but what about increases to Int from regular skill ups from the mod above?

Edit: I noticed with this mod if I didn't put anything into Int for a lvl I actually ended up losing max magicka, while I would of course gain magicka from lvling int, testing seems to of shown that the mod above skews this mod's calculations when it comes to magicka as currently my Int is 57 but max magicka is 54 and dips down to 49 if I don't put anything into Int.

    Getting an error:
    "
    Script recalculate_magicka_init
Trying to RunFunction init greater than function count
The script will not run anymore.

    Counting running executable?
    Yes   No   Yes To All
    "
It happens with no other mods, all morrowind code patch stuff uninstalled, and occurs right after escaping out of the cutscene that starts when I select "New" from the title screen. Have no save games to try from there.
Edit: Didn't realize MWSE was required fro the mod. Obviously works with that installed.

Hate to sound like a bother, but any plans for an OpenMW version?

Is it compatible with Magicka Mastery (not Mastering Magicka, this is a less ambitious mod) (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45058/?) and Spell Cost reduction (http://mw.modhistory.com/download-21-1406)?

Hi it's me again, I've tested both mods in game and checked the code, they do not seem to modify magicka in the way that wouldn't affect my mod, so you can say they're compatible.

However if there's anything off you notice, just send them my way.

Finally, sorry for being late to respond and thanks for choosing my mod

  10. Your updated version gives me an error:

    Script Error: EXPRESSION in recalculate_magicka_init
    Infix to postfix
    1. Thank you, I'll check that out.

      PS: Should be fixed now.

I have one question though, can I use MGE XE instead of MWSE? its supposed to be built-in

Sure, as long as the MWSE.dll is the right version.
