Are the antlers on the bosmer from a separate mod? I have been trying to find one that adds bosmeri antlers for ages.

      Hi!
Yes, the antlers are not included. If I remember it right I did my own conversion from some other mod made for Skyrim (the process is relatively simple). And the author didn't gave any permissions to redistribute their files, so I kept them for my personal use only.
But for now even I do not have the files. I reinstalled Morrowind a couple of times since then, and they were lost without possibility to recover.

Ahh, I see. That is unfortunate but I understand the situation, I'm not good at making any mods myself but hopefully someone makes a bosmeri antler mod someday :D I'm big into racial accuracy

    I'm a bit at a loss here.

I'm trying to add the hairs to a race that, unlike the required mods, comes with a head without ears.  Adding the ear mesh from the custom race to the hairs in Nifskope is easy enough but somehow they are invisible in-game?  They definitely show up in the character creation window but they do not appear on my characters head once i picked the hairstyle.  I scaled the ears up thinking they were too small and inside the head but that did not change things.

There's little to no information to be found on this very specific issue so i thought i'd ask here.

HiUnfortunately I can't be much help here... My knowledge of .nif files almost the same as yours. All I can do is copy and paste things in NifScope.

      Hey, thanks for replying.

I ended up sticking to hairs that cover the whole head, ears included, to circumvent the issue.

Not very elegant as a solution but it will have to do.

Really digging the blond hairstyle that is half shaven or whatever is called. Now I just wish more people released even more hairstyles that are modern looking for Mackom heads. I know this is old already but an update or add on to this type of hairstyles would be so neat if someone did it.

I love it! Especially Barenziah- she looks so much better, far more regal!

I do have a question, though. And, this may be a silly question, but I'm wondering if there is a way I could add one hairstyle to another race? Or just, able to use in character creation? Specifically I'd like to use one of the Orc male hairs on a Dunmer male- but I know next to nothing about how to use Nifskope, or how I might do so with any other program- if it is even possible. Either way, I love the designs!

Easiest way is to make a copy of the hair file and give it the same name as one of the Dunmer hairs. If you don't want to replace any preexisting hairs, you could download a mod that adds a few extras and replace one of those instead.

If you don't mind working with the CS, you can use it to make a new plugin and do the following:

      1. Click on the Body Part tab in the CS Object Window, right-click on it and select New.
      2. In the New Body Part window, fill in the ID field, select Hair from the Part dropdown menu, and choose Dunmer from the Race menu.
      3. Click on Add Art File, go to the Meshes folder, then the "b" subfolder, and select one of the NIF files for male Orc hairs.
      4. Click OK, save the plugin file, select it in your Data Files list, and you're ready to use the new hair in-game.

Worked like a charm! Thank you very much- I had a feeling it was likely simple to do, I just know very little about CS still. I appreciate it!

Hey SpaceDevo i followed your instructions for using the CS to add more hair, only the .nif files wont work (says invalid nif directory. Im using them from a mod that i copied to my desktop, also tried from my MO2 mod directory).
      Any help is appreciated.

IS there a way to make these hairs an add on rather then replaceing all normal hairs (so i can use this and the hair packs for mackorm?)

Yeah, but you'll have to rename the NIF files (or move them to a new folder) and then make a plugin in the Construction Set to add these new file paths to the game. I recommend checking out other hair addons like this one for reference on how to structure everything.

Hello again! I'm sorry if this is yet another silly question, but since you helped me out so much last time, you were my best shot at getting answers.
I'm wondering if there's a way I can mix and match hair mods? Say, I rather like most the hair in this mod, but I also enjoy the hair of other mods- but they would replace each other, so I can only do one or the other. I'm sure there's a way to make a plug-in or some-such to add both hair mods to the game, but I would have no idea how to do so. Of course, I don't expect you to just drop all your time into teaching a noob like me how to work with the Construction set, but I would really appreciate some help- if I could get a link or a basic description of what to do, it would be very helpful. I'm not sure if the process is the same as the way you described earlier, since the hairs are from two seperate mods- and I didn't want to try on my own and possibly mess up my game entirely, playing with things I don't understand. Again, thank you so much!

If you want to mix hairs without using the CS, you could simply rename the desired hairs of Mod A so they overwrite any unwanted hairs from Mod B.

If you want to add more hair files using the CS, it's pretty much the same process as my previous post, since it can be applied to any race/gender. You'll first have to make sure the new hair files don't overwrite anything the game is already using -- either by renaming them or moving them to a custom folder.

Great! You just fixed that issue with doubled ears, which appears after installing MacKom's head replacers.

      Hi!
In fact I think there is some other hair packs (or patches) that adress the issue.
