They look good but why is tx_parchment_02.dds only half the size of tx_parchment_01.dds? Because the objects are of the same size in the game. And I think it just doesn't look as good as the others.
I know what my textures look not as good as others. But they look more vanilla. Other textures just look like some one got some random medieval document and just made texture from that. And this not what i want present in my game. That is why i made this. Thank you for noticing size of tx_parchment_01.dds, it meant to be same size as tx_parchment_02.dds.
I meant compared to the other textures in this mod. Because they really are good. Especially because they are made to look like the vanilla ones. And not just medieval documents, like you said many others are.
I can't download the new one, yet, but it says it is smaller than the old one. I hope you didn't make tx_parchment_01 smaller - because I was hoping for a bigger tx_parchment_02.dds.
you mean tx_parchment_02.dds? yeah, i dont like it much ether maybe tomorrow a will try to make something better yeah, definetly tomorrow i will make better texture, and will bring back big tx_parchment_01 with it
Yes, exactly... and now I saw you really made tx_parchment_01 smaller in the new upload... no that's not what I had in mind.
Because now they are just as high as the tx_note textures, but the objects are much smaller. So the previous size of tx_parchment_01 was correct in my opinion.
One small suggestion, the edges of the tx_note02.dds look somewhat unnatural and have an irregular mix of round and angular shapes... this looks much better in tx_note01, maybe you could put just a little more work into that, and it would be just about perfect.
Yeah, i think it can be improved. But it kinda meant to be this way. Like, imagine normal square peace of paper, and then some one start to torn away little bits of it from all sides, and then stopes in the middle. This is how it looks in vanilla. But i think it can be improved, and also now it kinda look like cheese, so i need to fix that also.
Sorry for late reply. My PC and all of the files - gone. :( I don't think i will come back to Morrowind for some time. Yeah, and those Better Heads edits are gone too... Arrrgh!
Just now endorsing lol, but I'm curious is there any way to change the on-read mesh and textures for notes through programs or do we have to wait for OpenMW, I'm puzzled on why no one has changed it yet.
I think you can. I guess i saw it done in those books replacers. If you look at them, some times you will see text from the book on the page. It just goona be so tedious. Like, you will need to assign different mesh on to every note in the game (because you cant assign texture on object in CS, only mesh, and in mesh parameters will be path to a new texture). Plus you will need to make a ton of different textures for each note. But still, i think it can be done, i just dont think it worth the time. But it would be very immersive.
