*Other working shader configurations included in the archive plus other advanced settings with instructions!*

Added an optional file with 4 new palettes. The Colour Mood palette will produce a rainbow effect in the sky especially at sunset. Just beautiful. Check the picture share for pics. I'll upload some later but pics are included in the archive.

***Oh ya, there was a mistake in the main archive and that has been updated too so for those of you who have it then please grab the new one.***

    Thank you.

EDIT: If you want to get similar results then you have to follow the instructions in the read me. There is a big difference between the HDR (eye adaptation) and HDR 3 and Bloom Soft and Bloom Soft Sky so make sure you have the right correct shaders and that they are in the correct order!

Thank you so much! It took quite a while but I finally figured out how to use this!

Looks amazing, 2019 and now this game continues to look modern.

With the code of Phals enbpallette.fx just copy it into the shaders editor and save it, this is what confused me on how to install it (Says in the read me however).

If anyone comes across this in 2019 or later.

    Thanks!

Hey there! Your screenshots look absolutely incredible! However I'm having a couple of issues getting it to look ok -

Basically, my sky is way too bright, it is making the exteriors look like a massively over exposed photograph.

I've got a completely clean Morrowind install, with absolutely no other mods or adjustments running. Literally just MGE XE and your Palette! I believe I've 'installed' your palette correctly, because the colours have definitely changed to a more purple hue ( which is nice! ) - it's just this overly bright sky makes it look kinda bad.

I've edited my .ini as described in your read me. But I haven't yet downloaded any 'extra' shaders from the forums - I am only using the shaders MGE XE provides. Are downloading the extra ones noted in your read me necessary?

Really looking forward to hearing back from you, I've been trying all night to get Morrowind looking better and I haven't got anywhere, I'm tearing my hair out. Thank you for reading!

Its probably too late to reply, but I will do it anyway in case anybody else has this issue.

Its actually very easy to fix, just go to your morrowind folder/data files/shaders/XE shaders, and open up ENBPalette.fx with note pad; then search for the following line "CURVE_LIGHT_POWER" and modify the value lower than that, until you get what you desire. The brightness should go down drastically. In case you are wondering, i have this value on 0,8, so hope this helps.

I got it to work, but my problem is that it's TOO purple. The shader makes everything plain purple instead of giving the image a subtle purple tint. I'm aware there are more advanced settings to the shader, but I've no idea how to apply them and make the shader not so saturated and dense. Anyone can help me?

Can anybody tell me where I can find a desaturated MGE XE shader ? The one from the shader archieve just made my game pure black and white.

I don't know what ENBpallete.fx by Phal Shader is but Google gives me this Thing which? What Am I supposed to do with it? I tried to copy it into the Shader thing in MGE but it Won't even.

//#define USE_ENB_PALELETTE_STRENGTH 0.75 // (optional) [0, 1.0] ; decreases strength of the palette shift. 1.0 would be full strength, while 0 would effectively disable this shader.
#define ENB_PALETTE_MINIMUM_CONTRAST 0.10 //[.05, .15] This intentionally has very little effect when USE_CURVE is enabled
#define RED_WEIGHT 0.2126// 1.0/3.0 or 0.299 or 0.2126 are sane values (as long as the sum of the three channels equal 1.0)
#define GREEN_WEIGHT 0.7152// 1.0/3.0 or 0.587 or 0.7152 are sane values (as long as the sum of the three channels equal 1.0)
#define BLUE_WEIGHT 0.0722// 1.0/3.0 or 0.114 or 0.0722 are sane values (as long as the sum of the three channels equal 1.0)

    #define USE_CURVE // default is enabled
#defineCURVE_DARK_CONTRAST 0.20// higher values darken the image and reduce contrast
#define CURVE_LIGHT_POWER 2 // [1.2, 5] -- higher values increase the contrast of mid and bright tones (you may need to reduce the strength of your bloom shader)

So, First off, just can you Explain what ENBPallate.fx by fall Shader is, Why it's required, & Where to Download it,/What to do with it?

Commenting again because I can't seem to find a good download link. I searched through that forum and nothing seemed to turn up. What am I overlooking exactly because I can't find Phal's ENBpalette anywhere. I hope I'm not being annoying by asking the same question twice.

I don't know if I'm right or wrong about this since I watched my brother do it for me, but if I remember right, he went to the recommended thread and to one of those spoiler/dropdown hidden menus and copied the text there to a text document-like file, maybe a blank fx file, I'm not sure, then named it something to to with the enb palate .

Sorry if this is of no help, that's about all I remember of that part and odds are I'm getting it wrong. Hope you get it going anyway.

That is extremely helpful! I think I saw the text you're talking about, I guess I was just expecting a pre-made file. I guess it's time to do some learning.

Okay, where the heck is Phal's pallette shader? I've been scouring all of the places it's supposed to be and I just can't locate it. Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious, but I could really use some help finding it.

I'm about to reinstall Morrowind together with Morrowind Overhaul.

Is it possible to add your preset as icing on the cake, or will it confict in some way with the overhaul?

    Thanks in advance.

*Edit* Nevermind i removed that piece of crap mod because i got a black screen everytime i quit Morrowind with MGSO active, wich forced me to shut down my PC. I'll be using Morrowind Rebirth in conjunction with MGE XE from now on.

I can't wait to see your palettes in action.
