Hey! As much as I love the look of this mod, I haven't yet been able to get the new BSA edit-less version to work. I tried on my current save and then again on a fresh save. There's no error messages, just the old trees not being replaced. Any ideas?
Oh well that really sucks. We can't have that then can we? Hmm... Did you check that your computer is plugged in? BAWAHAHAHAHA...
Ok, ok sry bout that... ahem... okeedokee... so... umm... hmm... Oh maybe... nah... WAIT!.. what version of Tamriel Rebuilt are you using? That may be it. This mod was never updated to the last version that came out. Why you ask? I dunno Oh right... I was worried about the new decision that ther TR Team made about their new release schedule... ya that's it It really sounded as if they would be releasing new version like every month or two and so I never bothered to update my TR and I was waiting for a more substantial update myself.
That is why I was so happy that I made that very smart decision to keep the old BSA instructions! I knew they would come in handy! I think the instructions are easy to follow and if I can do it then anyone can do it.
You also should re-run your Distant Land Generator Wizard in mgeXE too so you can see them in the distance. I am assuming we all know how to do that but just in case I also wrote step by step easy to follow instructions for that as well. Boy oh boy am I reallly nice! <(O_~)>
I also have not updated this to use MD's new bark textures. I like them as they are but because MD is one of my fave MW modders this mod is on my list to update shortly. I also highly recommend this mod too http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44173/?
SEE WHAT I MEAN Ikesorea? TR just went through a MAJOR upgrade! Tamriel_Data by Cross-Project Coordination http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44537/? just came out and it changes the entire file folder so now this mod is obsolete if you upgrade to the latest TR which also came out the same day, http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42145/?
So this mod will have to be updated very soon, like in the next few days
I just tweaked the UV so they don't have that striped look at a distance. I'm not going to change the color of the texture itself, but I think this is an improvement. Take a look. And of course you would be free to change the trunk texture yourself if you want to!
