I have looked at this again & I do not have any weird hand issues.   The hand errors happen if you don't use the correct esp or no esp at all

Thanks for this awesome mod. I used it as a base, added some tweaks (such as fixing broken archery and crossbow animations) and combined it with swimming and spelling animations from MCAR. Everything works fine.

NOTE: My character looks completely fine in 3rd person, but the caved in breasts appear only in first person. They are caved in naked and clothed.

Is there any way to fix the inconsistency with Weapon Sheathing? In third person, your shield is placed on your back, but in first person, it's still on your arm.

First off with some background info. I quite literally just used this mod days ago, but since then, I've wiped my Morrowind install completely clean and reinstalled all my mods. Since having just installed this, I've run into the problem where I can't see the animations very well. The chest and body is barely visible when looking down and the arms and hands only flash on the screen during the running animation. I recall when using the mod previously, the effects were very visible. I could look down and see my character's body taking up most of the screen, and the arms could be seen at my sides when running and swinging my weapon when attacking, or moving when I cast spells.
I don't know what could be wrong here. I've put all the meshes into the folder and have chosen only the three vanilla .esps. The best way I can describe this problem (and I may sound literally insane) is that it originally felt like my camera was inside the 3rd person model, now it feels like the first person camera has 3rd person models jankily rigged to it. This is especially noticeable when I'm getting hit. My camera used to jerk along with the body, now it stays generally pretty still while the shoulders clip through it.

The mod author indicates you must set your FOV to like, 90 or 100 for it to "work" properly.

The same problem, FOV does not help

In first person it appears as if the arms are positioned lower than they should be. It would be very nice to get this fixed for OpenMW. Such a shame, it could've been so good.

This is probably why the author mandates setting FOV to 100; because otherwise you can't see the hands.

Any advice for those of us using Pluginless Robert's Bodies (NOT Better Bodies; they are different mods)?

Reason I ask is because I am using the appropriate ESPs for the mods I have, but bodies still aren't visible in 1st person, whether unclothed, unarmored or naked. I'm using RBNB, ClothesBC and ArmorBA; the hands appear properly with their animations, but the bodies are just...not working.

Only way to make the bodies visible at all is to use the Vanilla Bodies ESP in your mod, which as you can guess causes a lot of weird mesh issues.

for clarity, I am using OpenMW 0.48

EDIT: there's a strong change that the issue is because I use the CurvyBody addon for Robert's Bodies.

If using pluginless versions of better bodies and better beasts, should I choose the vanilla bodies esps?

Using the vanilla bodies ESP is the only way the mod will work with Pluginless Robert's Bodies, however it kind of mangles the first person torso mesh, where parts that should be sunken in are sticking outward instead.

It is also strange but I use Roberts bodies in my game, but if I pick any of these .esp options for this mod I end up with missing meshes for arms ingame. Using the vanilla .esp works though and I even see the better looking hands from Roberts bodies in first person. Very confused

Same. I carefully read the readme, enabled the correct ESPs, replaced the files in the Morrowind meshes folder, but when I play, I get missing mesh triangles in first person mode. Openmw.log says that it is looking for a dark elf male mesh in meshes/bbr, which doesn't exist.

I have this mod loaded at the very end of my modlist so nothing should be loading on top of it. Seems to me this mod is VERY sensitive.

EDIT: yeah if you use the vanilla bodies ESP with the pluginless Robert's Bodies, then it seems to load fine. HOWEVER, the naked body meshes get completely messed up in first person view, where the pectorals are sunken in and the sternum sticks out like a 2 inch wall on your torso. No legs either, though I think the creator mentioned that bit.
