About this mod

This mod replaces the 1st person animations with the 3rd Person animations.

The affect is more realistic 1st person.

This mod ADDS head bobbing & more exaggerated overall movement than vanilla .... that is the WHOLE point of the mod.
If you don't like that or can't handle it .... DON'T install this mod.

 Animation Compilation by Artaios is NOT compatible with this mod.

This mod replaces the 1st person animations with the 3rd Person animations.

Clothes & Armors now show in 1st person view. ( no legs or feet ... yet )

If you like more realistic game play this mod is for you.


If upgrading from DN 1st Person Enhanced 1.2 or  2.2 you need to delete these first.

Morrorwind Code Patch 2.3 beta 7 or newer is REQUIRED for the 1st person swim animations to work.

There are 2 optional .kf files

The Argonian Swimming animations are in the "AS" directory. The default beast swim animation is Khajiit. Overwrite "xbase_animkna.1st.kf" with this one.

The Djok's sneak animations, Almalexia casting animations & Dirnae walk & run are in the "DAA" directory. Overwrite "xbase_anim.1st.kf" with this one.

These files are in the meshes directory

The 1st person bounding boxes have been optimizes for less collision hang-ups since version 2.1 in 2.2 I have include the base animations for the NPC's with optimized bounding boxes as well.

There are some choices with the EPS's

Copy the EPS's of choice to MORROWIND\Data Files



DN_1stPersonBodiesVA.esp:    use this if you use 100% vanilla bodies

DN_1stPersonArmorVA.esp      use this if you use 100% vanilla Armor

DN_1stPersonClothesVA.esp    use this if you use 100% vanilla Clothes


DN_1stPersonBodiesBBNB.esp:  use this if you use Better Bodies & Liztail's new beast

DN_1stPersonBodiesBBAS.esp   use this if you use Better Bodies & Alienslof's Better Beast

DN_1stPersonClothesBC.esp    use this if you use BetterClothes1.1

DN_1stPersonArmorBA.esp      use this if you use Better Morrowind Armor


DN_1stPersonBodiesRBNB.esp   use this if you use Robert's Bodies   Liztail's new beast Argonian

Only use 1 Body ESP
Only use 1 Armor ESP
Only use 1 Clothes ESP                                    


The "Darknut's 1st Person Enhanced" EPS's  "MUST" load after any replacer EPS's that effect Bodies, Clothes or Armor.

Load order in critical for the hands to work correctly.

The hands will be buggered if the Animations are used without the esp's!

Use MGE XE or FPSOpt to set the FOV to 100.    This is REQUIRED to see the Armor & Clothes in 1st person.


Due to the posture of the beast races you won't be able to see the chest while walking or running.

If playing a female: After creating a new PC the Female chest won't show up until you load a save game.

ISSUES or incompatibilities or ....

There is a slight conflict with Yacoby's fast travel mod ... the mod still works but the accuracy is a little off so you don't always end up where you should.

If you think of it in a roll playing way its actually kind of fun ... just look at it like your not very good at the fast travel spell :-)

Also I suggest that you install fast travel & get it set up "ingame" before installing this mod.


This mod is incompatible with "Animation Compilation by Artaios" because it changes the same files
