Dude, these look awesome! I'm thinking this a definite necessity for my mod, as my textures can't even compare! Placing these as a permanent object in my gallery of necessary textures!

thanks! now maybe someone can add a pulsing glow to the letters or something kinda lordoftherings ish wish i knew how. you can see the UVs got stretched a bit on the model on the corners, but that makes it look more like an artifact and less like a collectors reproduction you buy on ebay. the dwemer script doesnt say anything besides Arkngthand and then i filled in the gaps between the top and bottom with fragments of that word so it was continuous. all done in gimp and something called AAA logo to create the script in an arc.

btw, if you want to just add it to your file thats fine, whether it is to replace your texture or just as an alternate. your texture is more in line with the vanilla game and armor style, and mine is more in line with my older mods for armor and dwemer machines, which i may decide to update eventually since now i have a way to do the dwemer script and engrave it on the armor, plus a few gimp plugins that will help when it comes to adding details i left out in my armor textures. one of these days. and i also have some KOTOR texture packs to finish, since i have been neglecting those recently.

Either way is fine with me. There was a small issue when trying to use the textures, but I re-saved them and got them working by doing that. I'll upload them as optional, plus a *slightly* tweaked UV mesh to try and fix some of the bigger issues, as well as a version for the non-replacer (which is simply a re-naming of the textures). There might also be a few minor tweaks I do here and there (like make the top a bit more unique, as it's unique in the original), but otherwise I'll probably leave your original here for people to DL and look at, as it's your work :3

But yes, I'd love to see you update your work and get back into it! Maybe even get back into modelling with blender... or some other (more serious) modeling program, I'd love to see your work, especially if it's as good as your textures!

i do have the vanilla texture replacer too, added that this morning. so if you want a different texture for one of the faces, then try that and see if the second round one works for you, all you really have to do is rename that texture file to the name you want it to be, drop it in your folder with the others (and overwrite the one you want to replace)and it will load as the new texture for that face on the cube.

I kept the texture paths the same with my mod (barring the corner piece, which is new, but I followed the naming style), so it would be pretty similar :3

I saw it and Dl'd it, and I'll have to check it out later

Still very-much in the works. I might have it completed on Friday or by the weekend, but no promises can be made yet, as I've got work-stuff that's taking up my time x3
