This is an old comment, but was wondering if you ever got the answer you were looking for. I've noticed this too and would like to have the correct version if I can.
I don't recall making that post but it looks like I made it when I was still maintaining mlox. The mlox rules point to that MMH download so I think it's the most recent version.
The update ESP is no longer available on that link. I've tried to find it thru abot's MMH index but im only getting the same version as is uploaded here.
Hello! Can someone please help me? when I enter the Throne of the Fang the screen is completely black, and not as in it's very dark and a torch will help. The visuals of the area don't load. I can walk around, I see the map icon, but when I'm inside the screen is black. Is this an error? The only thing I can think of that might be causing the problem is that I cheated and console commanded a soul gem with Vivec's soul in it because I did not want to kill him. Any other reason why I'm having this problem? Thanks.
I don't see why not but I don't know anything about Morrowind Rebirth really. I put this landmass waaaay out of bounds so surely no other world-building would conflict with it.
And this is an... evil house-mod? Because killing and soultrapping that asshole seems like an act of heroism.
Well I mean except for the fact that it could/did later cause Baar Dau to crash, make Red Mountain erupt and destroy Vvardenfell obviously, but that can't happen in-game so soultrapping Vivec still, at the very least, feels like a good deed.
Yeah I would definitely word it differently today. At the time playing even a semi "evil" character was revolutionary. That's one of the things that made Morrowind so great. You could play any character you liked for the first time, from a hero to a villain, to a rogue.
No, you must have Vivec's soul for the front door. That's an interesting idea though, and probably wouldn't be hard to change. Let me do some investigating. I'm having to reinstall Morrowind at the moment due to issues with Steam. It should be a simple edit of the script on the door, with her trapped-soul ID, instead of Vivec's.
Honestly the changes to the scripts on a few objects are very minor. I used the "setscale" script on some of the objects to change their size. There was a rumor that a different method was less taxing so I tweaked the scripts a little. At the time I was worried about performance, but since our rigs have all grown up, it shouldn't be any trouble. My FPS stayed constant when I visited the area. The two plugins can be used interchangeably though. They are really almost identical.
I was laughing reading one of the readmes when I said I had a P4 and a gig of RAM. We've come so far.

[Edit: And nice to see you around Morrowind again, Illtempered]
think it's the most recent version.
player->addsoulgem "vivec_god" "Misc_SoulGem_Azura" 1
-and-
player->addsoulgem "vivec_god" Misc_SoulGem_Azura 1
...One has parenthesis around Azura's soul gem, the other doesn't. They both seem to work.
