Its a cool mod, however, why don´t you do a version without the mask? That would be great, I would do it by myself, but I don´t know much about modding and modifying files...
There is not a version included with that mod. You are thinking of a similar mod that changes Vivec's appearance. The Almalexia armor mod is very hard to find and mostly consists of flat textures that don't seem to fit any body model. If you were to make something like that, I, and probably many others, would be quite happy if it was made as many armor/clothing pieces that go into their respective slots. Either clothing or light armor works best because of the weight or the fact that this kind of stuff doesn't look good when using clothing with it for max enchanting or something.
Actually, Melchior Dahrk is correct; Better Almalexia by Plangkye does in fact include wearable Almalexia armor.
From the Better Almalexia armor read me:
"If you want to wear Almalexia's armor yourself after defeating her, activate the included .esp - if you don't care, you don't need it; Almalexia's appearance will change even without the .esp. The armor has the same stats as glass, but the cuirass is lighter and the pauldrons are heavier - only slightly; they are still light armor."
I have that mod, and can confirm that the armor is wearable. I am not sure what TheWitherBoss was referring to, but it sounds like something else entirely. Please forgive the necro... I wanted to post a correction, so that people would know that wearable Almalexia armor is included in Plangkye's excellent mod. Oh, and this Dagoth Almalexia armor is excellent, too, MelchiorDahrk! Thank you.
Thanks for the reply! I completely forgot to correct Mr Wither. Good to set the record straight for posterity. Glad you like the look of the armor - it was a fun project,
I was just wondering whether the pieces are separate (pauldrons, boots etc) or is it in one piece. Great mod by the way I will have to use it for a mage character at some point.
Thnx for the awesome mod! But unfortunately i have an unarmed character so i wonder if there is a way to get Nif Files from this mod to make a new clothing like robe or something. And tattoos aren't part of the mod right ? cuz it dosen't appear on my character.
You should be able to set it up as clothing in the Construction Set without making any changes to the NIF file. Not a robe, but perhaps as pants and just using the LEFT ANKLE. If that makes your ankle disappear, let me know and we can modify the NIF to replace the wrist instead which won't cause problems.
Hey thnx for responding, yeah i tried that already but i can't just save it as clothing so what i'm trying to do is adding a new clothing by using your NIF Files but CS won't let me choose those cuz they are armor NIFS not clothing ... i mean i need NIF Files like (DA_b_ANKLE_L) but it dosen't appear in clothing tab. Sorry if i'm missing something ...
In the Body Parts tab of the CS, when you click on the object (should be something like DA_b_ANKLE_L), you can actually change it from armor to clothing. The NIF files themselves are not clothing or armor specific - that's just a CS mechanic.
Hmm, no. For that, you'd have to change the mask. If you're interested in learning how to do that, feel free to message me. I think we can do it in Nifskope.
And you're welcome! This is what modding's about. Making the game great for YOU!

Glad you like it!
And you're correct, the tattoos are not included.
Hopefully that'll let you do it!
