Thank you for making Vivec truly god like!

Sucks that there is no such replacer for Dagoth Ur.

Every day i'm pulled more towards The call of 3D modeling. So many characters need fixing.

Hi friends, hi SWG! Great mod! Favourite femme Vehk by far. Not without its issues, however, especially when trying to use it with the fantastic and lore-friendly SheVivec. However, I'm here to help! (And totally not because I spent like 3 days figuring out what was wrong, learning how to fix it, fixing it, and being so happy that I wanted to share it.)

Here's some fun fixes for all! Not uploading it as 'my own' mod, but will post it both here and on SheVivec, as I touched up both a bit. Please endorse the mods if you use these fixes!

Original Mod Authors: the work is already yours, and thus I simply and humbly offer these fixes for you to take and use/edit/upload on your respective pages. Please check over not only the archive structure, but the files themselves with my changelogs - you may be able to implement my changes better than I did with raw files, or know better ways to do it for your workflows. Just wanted to put a fix out for those struggling.

Oh - For those looking for install instructions if you're using both SheVivec and Femme Vehk, real simple. Install SheVivec, and decide whether or not you want blue-fire hair for MascVehk and/or Femme Vehk. (The Concept-Art face won't work with the Femme Vehk Replacer.) Then install Femme Vehk, and choose your corresponding body-type, and desired fire-hair type. Make sure to enable the ESP for SheVivec, and you're good to go. You can even use MascVehk replacers as usual with the tweaks to Femme Vehk's texture references!

    Presenting Femme Vehk Replacer Fixed.

    Gist of the changes:
o - Renamed and rereferenced the head textures for Femme Vehk so they still work for base MascVehk replacement, but when used with SheVivec, no longer overwrite vanilla-mesh MascVehk's face horrifically. (He had TEETH. On the BACK. OF HIS SKULL.) Femme Vehk's other textures might still override some parts of MascVehk and vice-versa if you texture-replace vanilla-mesh Masc-Vehk. I haven't tested this, as the MascVehk replacer I use uses a unique mesh with its own texture references, so it didn't matter. If it happens, message me (b/c comment notifications aren't a thing), and I can fix that up in a red-mountain-deep-throb-heartbeat.
o - Per SWG's comment, culled tx_b_vivechead_d.dds erroneous texture that was still on some of the Femme Vehk meshes. No more purple-texture-error overlay!
o - Sorted the optional bodytypes and no-fire/head-fires into separate directories, and included their relevant textures, so you're not installing more than you need. (Still might be some folder/texture optimisation possible, but I didn't spend a huge amount of time on it.)
o - Added blue-fire mesh/texture option for all provided bodytypes! You can choose between the particle fire (the default for Femme Vehk), blue fire (like She Vivec, and using She Vivec's provided texture!), or none. Now your Femme Vehk-replaced She Vivec can match your MascVehk with sick CHIM-head-fires!
o - Repackaged entire mod into BAIN format for MUCH easier installing via mod manager, while still more convenient even for manual installers (as all meshes/textures, even for optionals, are in proper folders for copy-pasting.)

And if you want to use SheVivec, I got you!
    Presenting: She Vivec Fixed.

Note for FemmVehk usage with SheVivec - you still have to do the mesh-rename and folder-move for your chosen mesh (per SheVivec's readme), and I mention such in the changelog, but if you use MO2, it's super easy to just install Femme Vehk Fixed, r-click the installed mod, open in explorer (Windows, lol), create the Fnk/SV folders in the Meshes folder, move the xlordvivec.nif mesh into Meshes/Fnk/SV, and rename it as per the changelog/original readme. Body/head/fire textures will still work as placed by the mod. (I could have done this in the BAIN installer, but it adds ~6 more folders and contents, and I would have had to separate the textures to prevent redundant copies causing archive bloat, and making sure to name/rename/adjust references/etc... My brain burned out a bit. Sorry. ^-^;)

Changelog is included, but the gist is:
o - Rebuilt the optional head-fire mesh for SheVivec - now it actually works, and no longer makes her invisible!
o - Fixed the script for OpenMW users - now SheVivec will actually allow you to have dialogue and, y'know, progress your narratives. Fix shouldn't affect regular Morrowind users in the slightest. Function for all! (See the... Second half, I think, of my big post over on the She Vivec mod for more detail on why this originally didn't work for OpenMW users.)
o - Folded all the optional downloads into one file, to trim extra zips and downloads and make it easier/more accessible.
o - Repackaged entire mod into BAIN format for MUCH easier installing via mod manager, while still more convenient even for manual installers (as all meshes/textures, even for optionals, are in proper folders for copy-pasting.) No idea how it'll work with Nexus/Vortex - I don't use them because there are (IMHO) superior mod managers for TES games: Mod Organiser 2 is fantastic even for Morrowind, and Wrye Bash is also amazing.

If there's any issues with these versions of the files, please message me/let me know. I won't maintain them forever, mostly in the hopes that they're A: fully functional (or not far from it), and B: the original authors pick them up and integrate them into their mods, for the ease of all!

Please enjoy, and remember to endorse the original mods!

Thank you so much for this beautiful mod. This has to be one of the best vivec replacer mods ever.
Say, can you make a similar Almalexia replacer? I use the "Better Almalexia" mod by Plangkye. I like that mod, but it looks like she's a breton altmer hybrid, with overly human appearance.
It would be really nice if you make one.

    Cheers.

Next step: Vehk randomly switching between the two forms each time you visit hir. That's the only thing I can come up with in order to (IMHO) bring this mod from great to awesome.

Of course, that wouldn't be [just] a replacer any more, and in fact I'm not sure how hard it would be to actually implement it.

That would be interesting, perhaps someone could make a model where the yellow half of vehk's body is female and the grey half is male.

You could also create silver or gold eye female companion for Mournhold.

I love this mod not just because it changes Vivec's appearance, but because it's lore friendly as well, as Vivec is a hermaphrodite in lore. Thank you very much

This is awesome, I love it! However, I get a missing texture error with all of the optional versions, it says "tx_b_vivechead_d.dds" is missing when going inside the Palace of Vivec.

Huh, I might have forgotten to remove that texture from the optional meshes, I wasn't using it anymore in the final draft but it probably got left over. It shouldn't cause any problems other than the error. If you want to fix it in your game you can open the mesh in nifscope and remove reference to that texture. Otherwise I'll try to fix it in an update sometime.

Yep! As you can see it was in the works for a long time. There were a couple issues with the version in those screenshots, namely the distorted neck and feet clipping into the ground. I had asked for help but it took a while before Moranar showed up and fixed my issues, also adding the flame particles to the mesh (which I made new textures for) and supplied a Robert's Bodies version of the mesh.
