dumb thing to ask here. does anyone know how to put this mod onto the kobold race mod with openmw? i had it work before, despite that i dont know how to do it again.
Really cool mod. Unfortunately with OpenMW it seems that the tail and hands of all Argonians revert back to vanilla textures/colours. Any idea what might be the issue?
Edit: Actually I found the issue. For anyone having this problem you have to move the hand and tails textures from their position in just the "textures" folder to the new beast bodies subfolder and overwrite the tails/hands textures there. Should work fine afterwards.
I'm still having missing neck problems with this mod on OpenMW. Even after trying the slof BB neck fix as suggested below. Shame because I really like this argonian revamp. Best I've seen by far!
Edit: Fixed it. Make sure you actually need the Slof BB neck fix. I assumed I would need it so never tried without that esp. When I did all the necks returned! ;)
Hey, thanks for this awesome mod. i'm using this on OpenMW and I wanted to let anyone know that's having trouble with textures not changing or the neck disappearing that there's pretty simple workarounds. It was mentioned a little further down but i'll just reiterate here.
[Body/Hands/Tail Not changing?]: Copy the DDS files from the textures folder in the zip for Wey's New Argonians (should be like arg_f_body etc) and paste those into the new_beast folder, which is in the textures folder in your morrowind Data Files folder. That should change them.
[Neck disappearing when wearing shirts?]: Slof's better beasts mod has an extra plugin called "Slof's BB Neck Fix" which actually seems to work with New Beast Bodies just fine, just be sure to only use the neck fix plugin, you do not need anything else from better beasts for this to work.
these options both fixed my issues, hopefully they are useful for anyone else having trouble.
I tried moving these files into the selected folders using above instructions but the tail and hands still stay the same. I even tried reinstalling it but the problem still keeps occurring despite my attempts. Can anyone help me?
