Hi! Great mod! There's one little thing, though. Whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE THE GOLD ON THE BOOKSHELF. When I did that, I got an error message, something about a new type of gold. Then a Dremora spawned and killed me instantly. Other than that, it seems to work just fine.
Please use Jackleson's remake of this house: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46574 When I made this I didn't realize a lot of the stuff inside was scripted and under ownership and the like.
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46574 In the Miscellaneous Files you'll find this mod fixed and otherwise my personal (also fixed) interpretation of this mod.
The Cursed Gold is the best part if you know what I mean (except it soft-locking the expansions and stuff)
Hello, i just want you to know that this is a great little humble house mod! I would also like to ask your permission to go into the construction set and change a few things. Namely the cursed dremora gold that someone already mentioned, to the non cursed type and maybe replace all that skooma with a few bottles of cheep potions and local brandy instead (all that free skooma can net a new player quite a bit of cash). Now i won't steal or upload the mod as my own (or even upload it at all) as that's kind of douchey. In fact, if you really wanted i could just give you what i changed and you can do whatever you want with it. Including adding it as a small update.
Sorry for the late reply. That sounds very good, I've still not got around to fixing said problems as I haven't reinstalled Morrowind yet. I would love it if you went in and fixed those things and then just sent me the file, it would save me from having to install the game just to fix them, especially having really slow internet. Feel free to add/change anything you like, within reason, and I'll look into it and see if it's something that would improve the mod.
I made my own take on your mod (I personally felt you put to many valuables and useful items for the, likely, brand new off-loaded prisoner to get this early in the game), but in the Miscellaneous Files there is one called "Original Fixed Simple Balmora Player Home - no jump scare" This is the fixed version of your mod as you exactly intended. I also have a version of your mod that with the "Cursed Gold" accidental jump scare intact, but its expansion breaking quest event trigger script sorted/fixed. Definitely update your mod with either or both of them and I'll remove them from my page because you deserve all the credit. https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46574
Me, I'd just as soon pass on the drug stuff. But...great little pad! And I like the way you blended it into the hillside. And no, I wouldn't expand it. It's already just the right size and nicer than Caius' house....wouldn't want to blow our cover, now, would we, my fellow Blades? A trap door & ladder to the roof would be a nice touch, though...
Thanks for the advice! I'll be sure to the add a ladder to the roof when I have Morrowind reinstalled. Right now I'm waiting to reformat my computer for Windows 10.

would do it again

Nearly all books and some misc items have NPC ownership. Don't sell them to Dorisa Darvel.
Cursed gold is still here.
