Any chance we could see an update to this mod with figurines in various armor-styles? This mod adds a fun, little diversion from the typical aRPG tedium (i.e. kill-loot-sell-level-upgrade-repeat) that should be much-appreciated. I also don't particularly mind the current aesthetic; we can always say they're a wizard's crazy experiment (probably one of those Telvanni nut-cases that's been squatting in their mushroom-tower too long and their brain has started to turn into a toadstool too) with Conjuration (summoning the soon-to-be-victimized creature, or a Daedric facsimile thereof), Alteration (to shrink them), and Illusion (to permanently paralyze them).
Sorry I didn't see this until just now. Never got an email or anything...
Anyway, it has been on my list of things to do, but there are so many texture replacement mods, body mesh replacement mods, etc. I would love to do a figurine update with important people of Morrowind and armor, weapons etc. If a lot of people want this I'd be willing to do it. Again, I held off cause so many people use so many replacers the figurines will out of place :(
I enjoy this mod very much. I have encountered an issue with the Sotha Sil figurine though; it is missing its face. As I am not versed in the CS, I cannot fix this myself. Again, a very enjoyable, fun mod that adds an element of collecting to the game that was previously only doable with soul gems. A great mod for the role-playing animist, daedra worshipper, and anal-retentive collector.
So, after an incredibly long hiatus, I looked into this issue and I discovered that the Sotha Sil model that was included in the mod was not the correct .nif. I have updated the file to include the correctly mapped Sotha Sil figurine. If you have Tribunal installed you will have the correct textures, as it uses the same map as the Bethesda model.
This figurine mod looks very similar to a mod that I created, but this one is significantly more sophisticated than I was able to make mine. I hope that people will still use and enjoy what I made despite this fact. I guess that there's the difference that my figurines are slightly larger, and must be purchased instead of found (which would also mean that the two mods wouldn't conflict if someone decided to use both), but I'm not sure if that's enough of a reason for someone to download mine after seeing this one. Well, anyways, it looks like the author did a great job with this mod (much better than I could ever do with my novice skill set), and I offer my congratulations to him.
These look great! I love the concept, especially since I have a weak spot for collecting things.
Would it be possible to have a version with less realistic details? Like point the texture to wood or something so it looks like a carving rather then an uber accurate representation? I understand if no, of course.
Well I could go back and paste a wood texture over everything but it would lose all the detail but whats in the geometry. If that's what you're looking for it wouldn't be too hard, just time consuming. It is simple enough to do even with nifskope if you're inclined. If you aren't I might be able to do it sometime next week but I can't promise anything. Real life tends to get in the way of stuff.
Also the icons would still reflect the detailed texture.
