I installed this mod to use in conjunction with Extended Mark and Recall (tomes). Mark the Mudcrab, speak remotely, barter/repair/spellmake/enchant anywhere on the fly. Call it a cheat or call it a convenience.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find other conveniences and attention to detail. Ingredient sorting, 'cursed' item fixes, unique storage... interior windows that open to exterior... the tinder box and sleeping bag work better than the similar items that come with Frostfall! I uninstalled Frostfall after finding them. The ship manifest does something else I was trying to do (store things remotely, which the manifest does in a lightweight fashion). Unfortunately the manifest sometimes stops working and sometimes the items stored in the ship cargo disappear. The items I put in cargo re-appeared after a while, and I think it might be related to moving the ship, so I'm going to try leaving the ship in one place to see if the manifest keeps working. If not, the mudcrab works as remote storage since he buys/sells everything at the same value and keeps his inventory.
As others have commented, everything is mysteriously doubled. Containers, doors, items, cats. However there is an easy fix for cabinets/doors if you want to use them. -open door -in console, click door -disable -remaining 2nd door works as normal
The mannequin being doubled and occasionally moving means it ends up looking like some kind of multi-armed sentinel posted in the corner, but I chose not to address this by disabling either instance.
There's a well-hidden two-handed daedric sword with 300 enchant also. Actually, two of them, occupying the same space.
I really could use your help with making my boat able to travel to each port. I love how your longship works and i could really use your help with making my boat "sea worthy"
There are a few breaks in it. Many storage items are doubled, including the cat for some reason. Additionally, the basement drops my framerate to ~20, when no other mod, interior or exterior, that I've tried does so, so your phone may not be able to handle it.
Wondering, do you have both Mudcrab Island *and* True Lights and Darkness? TLAD contains a "bonus" of Mudcrab island "remastered" with the new lighting, but not the textures from the original mod. So you need to install the Mudcrab island mod, and then disable the accompanying ESP and use the one from the LAD mod. I had this issue where I thought the ESP was a "plugin" or "add-on" and not a complete rewrite. Disabled the original mudcrab island ESP and my double of everything went away.

Hey! Great mod, loving the house! I got a little issue though. Every animated object appears twice, so, the chests have 2 lids, the shelves have 2 doors, there's 2 cats on the bedroom, etc- For example when I open a chest, the lid comes up but there's another lid that got to be opened
Ok, seriously: this is probably my favorite "home mod" now. Period..and the reason is that A) it's not so huge as to be "immersion breaking" (as the "blade safehouse" or "Balmora lighthouse", which to me feel weird...i'm an outsider and, somehow,i managed to get the best house in all Vvardenfell? Breaks my immersion) instead this makes sense: an isolated house on an island that, simply, nobody remembers about. B) when it comes to tools-quality of life it's amazing: the ingredient sorter is the best one i've seen, the armor mannequins look great (but i've encountered one equip bug) and the storages for Finn,Mazte etc are amazing) C) the "surprise" (won't spoil it) that happens after a while....well.....i was shocked D) sooooooo much storage E) many little secrets to discover F) the fact that it is placed just upon the crab merchant is sooo convenient my only complaint is that the tower was kinda disappointing honestly G) having your own boat to travel (with a loat of storage containers) is really neat \\\\\\\\\\\\THAT SAID PAY ATTENTION! ! ! ! ! ! (semi spoiler ahead)\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ if you're one of those people with a huge amount of aracnophobia...don't play this...won't say anymore, but trust me: you'd get shocked
I love this mod, but I am having the same issue with some of the chests, where they open via animation, but don't actually open up to store a usable inventory...
Also, last night, I had my ship docked in Ald Velothi, and while out and about, the manifest stopped working... back to Ald Velothi I went... no ship... no clue if I had quest-necessities on there...
I am also using MGSO 3.0, fwiw...
Love this to bits, but these few things are making me sad.
Wait a sec, you might be able to recover the items in the boat with Enchanted Editor. I know that you can edit the Containers' inventories in a save file with Enchanted Editor, but I'm not sure if the items could be moved or copied to another container. It's worth checking out, though!
