I. About This Mod

This version of AOF's Potion Replacer is an expansion of the work released by AnOldFriend. It is primarily a cosmetic mod which replaces all of the game's magical potions with new beautiful potions made with the skillful hands and creative imagination of AOF. In addition to AOF's previous work, this version includes different colored potions for the different schools of magicka (courtesy of Sister) and it re-positions (hopefully) all of the potions in the game to avoid clipping issues.

Specifically, this mod replaces potions that fall into the catagories of "spoiled, bargain, cheap, standard, quality, and exclusive" as well as a few others such as "cure" potions, unique potions, and home brewed potions. It does not replace liquors, empty bottles, etc.

II. Installation

Extract the contents of this .7z file to your "...\Morrowind\Data Files" folder and let it overwrite files if you are prompted.

You should activate only one of the ESP files included in this archive. If you have neither the Tribunal nor Bloodmoon expansion packs installed, use "AOF Potions Recolored.esp"

If you have Tribunal but not Bloodmoon, use "AOF Potions Recolored Tribunal.esp"

If you have Bloodmoon but not Tribunal, use "AOF Potions Recolored Bloodmoon.esp"

If you have both Tribunal and Bloodmoon, use "AOF Potions Recolored T+B.esp"

III. Version/Update Information

Updated in version 1.11

Very minor update - I simply re-dated the ESP files with Wrye Mash so they load early in your load order. This is done so the changes made to the game's interior cells (repositioning potions) will not conflict with other mods that may make more serious changes to those same cells.

Updated in version 1.1

In this version I have corrected the positions of some more potions in the game world to avoid clipping issues, I have also corrected clipping potions in areas added by the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions. An issue was reported by Dormouse that potions of the bargain and cheap varieties often clip with surfaces they are placed upon. I have "corrected" this issue for hundreds of potions in the game by lifting them up a tiny bit above the surface below them. Unfortunately, bargain/cheap potions placed by your character in the game world will still clip with many surfaces. A permanent fix by AOF is pending.

Another issue reported by Dormouse is that home brewed potions were not using Sister's icons in the initial release of this mod. This has been corrected in this version.

IV. Credit/Contact Information

Most of the credit for this mod goes to AnOldFriend who created the beatiful potions in this mod. Also a great deal of credit goes to Sister who re-colored AOF's textures for the different schools of magicka, created icons for all of the potions, and inspired me to do this. I, Bycote, simply edited all of the potions to use their artwork and re-positioned the potions in the game world to avoid clipping.

Any bugs should be reported to me, Bycote, on the Official Bethesda Forum. For example, if you find a potion somewhere in the game world that is clipping with a table or something around it then please notify me of this so I can correct it in a future release.
