1. SUMMARY
=======================================
This mod adds a female Redguard named Jasmine who will join you in your adventures provided you do her a favor first. I wrote most of her dialogue to revolve around the Main Quest (MQ), so those not doing it will miss out on quite a bit of the mod. She does have her own backstory and a few quests that you'll be able to partcipate in should you keep her around.

2. FEATURES
=======================================
This mod uses Grumpy's companion template and scripting system - updated and improved by Melian - that includes companion leveling, levitation ability, warping and water breathing. Jasmine can be played by any level character at any stage of the Main Quest, but it is perferable to find her before you start the MQ.

Notes:

In version 1.12, I introduced a telepathy ring similiar to what Kateri's Julan mod uses. She will not give you the ring until you have a global reputation of three or greater. Once you do, talk to her to get the ring.

As of 2.7, Jasmine will only focus on her scouting skills:

Majors: Light Armor, Marksman, Restoration, Block, Long Blade.

Minors: Sneak, Unarmored, Medium Armor, Short Blade, Athletics.

She will also teleport with you if you use Recall or one of the Teleportation spells.

As of 2.5, Jasmine will now swap places with you if you ask her to take my place under her "change what you're doing" topic.

3. REQUIREMENTS
=======================================
This mod requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon as well as Better Bodies version 2.0+, otherwise some of the clothing worn by the NPCs will look strange.

4. INSTALLATION
=======================================
Copy the files in the Data Files folder into their respective folders:
JAC_Jasmine.esp goes into the main Data Files folder (\Data Files\).
The subfolders in the Icons folder go into the Data Files\Icons subfolder.
The subfolders in the meshes folder go into the Data Files\meshes subfolder.
The subfodlers and files in the texture subfolder go into the Data Files\Textures subfolder.
Select the JAC_Jasmine.esp file in the Morrowind launcher to play.

5. Using the mod

To start the quest, speak to anybody in Seyda Neen about the latest rumors.

6. KNOWN ISSUES
=======================================
This mod was not designed for players that choose to become werewolves or vampires. A vampire should have no issues playing with it, but those that choose to be a lycanthrope should not allow her to see you change. If she does, she will attack and report you as a werewolf. It is not recommended that you use any mods that change the Main Quest like Never say Never. The primary focus of this mod was its dialogue and while those mods won't break this, you'll miss out on a good portion of the new dialogue.

This mod may not work properly with MCA's love making or with the Romance mod due to how they operate. It will, however, work perfectly with Mr. Cellophane's Lovers and Legends and my update to that mod.

NOM users: this mod uses a number of resources from NOM and that mod should load after this one (have a later date). You can either use Wrye Mash to redate NOM or load it into the CS and save it without changning anything. I will keep the date of this mod the same throughout its updates.

This mod adds a house to the area northwest of Seyda Neen and may conflict with mods that add content there like Vality's grass mod. This mod also makes a change to Addamasartus and the Eight Plates in Balmora by adding NPCs to them. It also adds a house outside of Ebonheart and a Dwemer style tower north of the Ahemmusa Camp.

Caius will not talk to you if Jasmine is in follow mod. If you leave her somewhere while teleporting, you will need to use her telepathy ring to have her stop following. She has unique greetings depending upon what quest Caius has you performing when you retrieve her from the Eight Plates in Balmora.

There is a 72-hour bug in which NPCs are reset if you do not talk to them at least once in any 72 game hour period, or if they are not within the same cell as you. If you don't talk to Jasmine at least once every 72 game hours, her teleportation ring may cease to function. You can use Jasmine's telepathy ring to contact her once every 72 hours or so if you need to leave her somewhere.

The scabbard for Deandre's scimitar uses the left pauldron slot. This was so that it would show up on the outside of any clothing worn. It may clip with certain non-BB clothing and any clothing that uses the neck slot. You'll have to mirror any pauldrons if you want to wear two.

Though Jasmine will teleport with you whenever you use Recall or one of the Intervention spells, she will only do so if you teleport to an exterior cell because of an engine limitation.

7. USE IN OTHER MODS
=======================================
Most of the resources in this mod are modder resources and do not require permission to use provided you credit the original authors and include their readmes. The stories in this mod are written by various authors and you should contact them if you wish to reuse them. "The Sage of Torrin" and all of the poems are written by me and I ask that you contact me should you wish to reuse them in your mod. I do not mind giving consent, but I would like to know where my work is being used.

8. UNINSTALLATION
=======================================
To properly uninstall this mod requires either using Wrye Mash's repair all function or the Morrowind Code Patch's saved game cleaner. This mod will likely invalidated your saved games unless you clean your save.

To uninstall:

1. Remove everything from Jasmine you want to keep.
2. Save the game and exit completely.
3. Load Wrye Mash and uncheck the mod.
4. Use the Repair All function to remove all traces of the mod.
5. Load your save and click past any errors, they won't show again.

If you are using the MCP, follow steps 1&2, but use the launcher to uncheck the mod. Load as normal and click past any saves.

Revamped Jasmine's following Ai while levitating, swimming, etc.
Added slowfall Ai scripting and spells.
Added script routine by Melian to move Jasmine from the player when using fast tranport (ships, Silt Striders, Mageguild guides).
Added the spell "Heart Heal" to Jasmine to help increase her survivability in melee combat. She will not cast it on the player.
Changed the default leveling script to add back in magicka for Jasmine; decreased her Destruction to 5 to prevent her from casting area of effect spells.
Added a missing book from a quest to a rogue Ashland camp. The book will update the journal if the quest is active.

Fixed an issue with Jasmine's follow speed - she should now stick closer to you while traveling.
Added dialog for the various Imperial Legion quests. Jasmine's disposition will raise or lower based on how you complete some of the quests. Hint: she doesn't like it when you bully widows.
Added a scimitar to Deandre and an additional quest to him. After finishing it, you'll recieve his scimitar (same stats as an Ebony scimitar, but it's not enchantable due to the textures used on it).
Added a dialog option to have Jasmine level if she's able without your having to sleep. She will only level her skills to your level. Also, her health will reset to its max. I inlcuded this option for mages who use the Atronach birthsign and the GCD mod - basically anybody that doesn't rest often or to level.
Jasmine's disposition will now increase after you do each of Deandre's quests.
Fixed various typos and other small bugs and included new dialog to various NPCs to flesh out thier character.
Added a new quest. Talk to Deandre after you have retrieved the fourth Tall Papa book. Also added a new NPC and Dwemer tower ruin.
