I really wish somebody could built upon this and make a new version of this mod. As is - it's unusable. But those bits that do work are just perfect.
One of the tree meshes is broken in a weird way: the bark texture is just plain white. (I play OMW, and perhaps there is no problem with original engine). Not all trees are replaced. Those that are - they look just great: it's a vanilla-friendly low poly look with much more nice convincing leaves. I did not install anything but trees.
Why do some plants, such as the black anther, have no collision whereas other plants do..? It doesn't make much sense to me... I would really love this mod if there were no collisions on any of the plants altogether... Still, pretty plants...
For people who may want to download this mod, beware: It adds collision to many plants that have no collision in the original game, which means you can't walk through them, can get stuck in them or stand on them in midair. There is also a chance of blocked paths or entrances.
You should probably fix the errors in this mod for these meshes (it's great for performance don't get me wrong but openmw is really intolerant of errors that might squeak by on the original engine):

I'm also going to join the chorus of 'remove those annoying plant collisions'. Especially if there is a way to do it without losing performance, eg: a low poly no collision alternative..
I had a lot of trouble with this, as I was getting stuck in the plants and couldn't get rid of the collisions even with the no collision meshes. I eventually uninstalled it and the plants disappeared leaving the ground utterly denuded everywhere. It took me ages to solve the problem and here is the answer in case anyone else made the same mistake.
The collisions were not caused by the plants in this mod. They were caused by the grass. If you are running MGE XE (as everybody should be) you need to activate the esp only creating distant land files, then you disable it. This much is well known. However, I found that disabling the esp made the ground bare. The story was the same with other ground cover mods. Now, I had been told that MGE XE should be run with at least 150 min statics. So what was happening was that MGE XE was filtering out the plants thinking they were too small. This seems to me a fault with MGE XE as it should not be worrying about displaying small objects nearby.
I don't think I totally understand what was going on, since I wouldn't expect MGE to filter out vanilla grass. Maybe it just does. Anyway, Better Flora was not at fault and I might even reinstate the plant collisions as I don't mind bumping into large plants, it's just getting stuck in small ones that is annoying.

It's very vanilla-friendly too. Do you plan to make models for compatibility with Graphich Herbalism?
