Hi I was wondering if I could use this on my own personal overhaul of Seyda Neen as a base?

One of my favorite mods for Seyda Neen! Cheers! :D

I can't help but wonder: how is there a basement level for a building that's on a swampy shoreline?

I asked myself the same but realized it somehow aligns with the rocks outside. So perhaps the basement is on the rocky ground and the forge itself helps to keep the moisture low?

Coming from the future I also have to add that the way the dock for the Census office is setup is on the perhaps only rocky shoreline of the game as attested by the nearby rock emplacements but the very fact the whole census office is made out of stone Imperial Style.  The foundation is quite good already, I just love this mod so much haha, I even have a small tweaked version of my own where I replaced the two Imperial guards below with a breton and orc one for more variety, the Imperial Legion is quite diverse.

Please allow the note in the 3rd room to be removed. It is a mess when it comes to spelling and grammar and it makes little sense it is located at a difficult to reach place. Why would it be underneath a pillow? Otherwise, good add on for the Census and Excise office.

In OpenMW the new rooms don't show up, instead there's just a few misplaced sloped ceiling pieces and a double door at the exit from the class/birthsign selection room. I have Morrowind Rebirth installed, which is notorious for its lack of compatibility with other mods, but I'm not aware that it modifies the interiors of the Census Office. Is anyone else having something similar? TIA.

Edit: MR does modify the interiors of the Census Office, resolved.

This is a very enjoyable immersion mod, as Melchior said, it really never did make a whole lot of sense how the guards in the game rarely had quarters of their own, and this addition rectifies that problem in Seyda Neen quite skillfully. The interior is very well built, with a large number of furnishings and detailing that makes it fit in perfectly with the rest of the Census Office, and the extra provided blacksmith service adds something that was severely lacking in the game's starting area before (players used to have to go to Balmora or Pelagiad to fix their gear). Overall, a very charming and very well done mod! Endorsed.

It never made sense that the guards in Seyda Neen had no where to bunk. Of course, Seyda Neen isn't the only city guilty of this.

Like I mentioned elsewhere, it would be great if you looked into making a compatibility patch for Go To Jail. I think the two mods will complement one another nicely.
