    Brilliant!

I never expected to find a home of this quality for Morrowind and i'm glad my assumptions were wrong.

Just stunning. Never seen such an innovative and charming house before, all the little tweaks you did to build up a new decoration object, just wonderful. It was sublime to soak in the hot tub, then eat such tasty delicacies in the dining room after a hard day of adventuring. thank you so much!

A huge, amazingly detailed house mod. I loved it when I first got it. However, I didn't really like how things respawn in the Alchemy room and etc. And also, I ran into a weird issue where the door leading from the Armory into the Training room was doubled some how, so I had to physically open 2 doors. It was weird. It also happened on the door to Sadri's room. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but all the interior lighting seems to be not well put together imo. (one example the basement is oddly so so bright) Overall though I was impressed with the many items and details.

This is a simply lovely home with a wealth of detail, and extremely clever use of existing CS elements.

It's really quite beautiful, the author did an outstanding job.

If you're a purist, however, this home is filled with a multitude of ebony weaponry and a wide variety of skill books.

There's a few other small things, but nothing that would have an effect on game play.

Heartily endorsed, author did a really good job.

I think this mod is incompatible with Morrowind rebirth, but incompatible is not really the right word to use I guess because theres no game breaking conflicts or anything, just some mildly annoying moved gangways and a staircase. The ship at vivec was moved a bit for Morrowind Rebirth(atleast im pretty sure thats the mod that moved it) but the new things at Vivec dont overlap the area that the house was gonna be added to so I got the house and now I find a staircase that used to lead down to the ship at the start of vivec is now floating over the water just past the ship, the gangway that used to lead onto the boat is just past the staircase too. Also it looks like there is supposed to be a boat in the water off of the little island that the Lotus' bridge leads to, because theres a gangway there too but it just hovers over the water leading to nothing. I'll go ingame when I get a chance to take some screenshots to upload here to show exactly what I mean.

Edit: Iv uploaded three screenshots, two of the floating gangways and staircase and one of where the gangways and staircase should be.

My Asian character loves this house! The home is very lovely and imaginative, and you were right. The screenies you posted here really don't do it justice.

My only 2 suggestions would be an ingredient sorter in the alchemy lab, or at least the alchemy containers so many other mods use. I would think that putting all of the ingredients on a shelf would get messy after a while lol. Though, I may never find out since I grew impatient with brewing my own potions a long time ago and I don't really use alchemy that much.

Also, it is a bit strange getting to the house by walking over the boat. The boat is a static object in the game, but it is supposed to be a boat-for-hire that moves! Yeah, a really small nitpick, but it does screw with immersion.

All in all, a beautiful home that I am proud to add to my collection, and add my endorsement to. Thank you so much for sharing!

Love what you did with the planter in the front hall. The pool is pretty clever too!

This is a very lovely house that has all the comforts and amenities of a well-established estate, while also remaining very functional with plenty of player storage and display space available. The house, at least on the interior, is beautifully hand-built, with the author clearly taking the time to detail each room by hand in order to make an absolutely charming environment. There's a large array of creative uses of existing meshes as well, and everything you might think of, from the foyer's coat hanger to the kitchen sink has been thrown in to craft a unique and believable house. In addition to plenty of storage and display space, the player will also find a teleport ring to take them back to the estate whenever they want, which is always a handy and convenient feature to include. Overall, while this house mod isn't exactly for purists (there's an entire Grandmaster set of tools available), it is a very lovely and very well crafted abode that most players should find quite comfortable. I don't know if this is the author's first mod or not, but if it is, I have to say this is an amazing first showing and I hope we can see more from you in the future! Endorsed.

EDIT: Review Update on 7/22/14 - Mod file has been completely cleaned and none of the error messages reported by myself and RaveBlack can be found in the new version. File is completely safe for play!

Now, I should cover some improvements that can still be made (and I'll be echoing a few of the other comments here), because while the mod itself is very good, there's a few things that can still be fixed or made better. The first thing I would highly recommend, and something of a little pet peeve of mine, is to change the interior lighting settings for the Lotus Moon manor. Currently, the lighting settings for Sunlight and Ambiance are similar to these default lighting settings as you can see here. I would recommend changing these settings to something more like this. If you thought your house mod was cozy already, just try it out with those lighting settings and you'll see a vast improvement with a far more visually cozy atmosphere. It's a quick fix, should only take a few minutes, and it improves the quality of the interior atmosphere tenfold!

I also received the same issues as RaveBlack did upon checking this mod for dirty references, and I should note I found three specific dirty references (ingred_wickwheat_01, arrille, and bk_Artifacts_Tamriel) as well as three dirty dialogue references and quite a few dirty cell references (or junk cells). Now for the dirty dialogue references specifically, I'd recommend TESPCD (using the report dialogue funtion) or tes3cmd (using the overdial command) to clean those out. As for the dirty references and dirty cell references, tes3cmd should take care of those, but since RaveBlack mentioned that even after cleaning with tes3cmd left the edits in Skaal Village, I would instead recommend Enchanted Editor. Using Enchanted Editor you should be able to delete every cell reference which was created accidentally (and I noticed there's a empty house added to Pelagiad for some reason?) as well as all three dirty references. Deleting these in Enchanted Editor won't have any effect on your mod, so long as you keep the cells which were specifically part of this mod's purpose and function and only remove the cells added by accident (such as Skaal Village). There's a tutorial on TESPCD and Enchanted editor here, and you can use the wiki for tes3cmd.

Hope that helps, and if you have any questions, just let me know! This really is quite the great first mod and certainly an excellent house mod, even with the issues mentioned here.

Thank you so much for your comment. I'll look into these issues immediately and check out the tools you've provided. I made this a few years ago and I was and am still learning, I apologize for the "trash" I seem to have left behind! I have no idea what's up with Skaal Village since I really don't think I ever changed anything there, but I guess modding's more complex than I knew!

Upon pulling up this mod to check it out in the CS, I got an error about an edit in the Skaal Village, after which I immediately exited out and scrubbed the mod down with TES3CMD and TESTool. Even though those two utilities removed a lot of duplicate edits and junk, I still discovered quite a few dirty cell edits (including the aforementioned Skaal Village edit), as well as two completely empty cells that were added to the mod for some reason. I used Enchanted Editor to remove those two empty cells, the Skaal Village edit, and several more cell edits in Balmora (interior and exterior), Pelagiad (exterior), and Vivec (interior).

Additionally, why is there a copy of the house exterior in the main Lotus Moon interior cell? It doesn't seem to have a purpose that I can see.

The house itself looks lovely! I hope it can be made compatible with Necessities of Morrowind and the Bathing Mod. I'll have to try to accomplish that on my end.

Congrats on the release. Is this your first mod? If so, keep at it. I'd also recommend you check out the Bethesda Morrowind Modding Forums (http://forums.bethsoft.com/forum/12-morrowind-mods/) for advice and discussion.

I haven't play tested your mod quite yet, but I shall soon. Based on the screenshots I can give you a little bit of feedback, but be aware I haven't tested the mod, so if I say something wrong feel free to correct me.

    1. Nice job making the bath. I'm guessing you created an interior with water at a certain height and put a hole into the floor. To make this even better I recommend using wooden shack planks (ex_de something?) to create the edge around the pool. The wet wood look would go well with it and it would match the rest of the interior better.
    2. Put things off center and angle. In the real world, things are rarely perfectly lined and center. Your building has lots of empty space and looks too neat. Try making it look a bit more lived in. Move things around and add a bit more clutter to fill it all in.
    3. Landscaping around the house looks too plain. Try adding some rocks and a path leading to the house. I'd also get rid of the Hlaalu steps. They don't match the rest of the architecture.
    4. Don't sweat it and keep trying. The mod's a great start. As goes with any criticism, it's much easier noticing what's wrong as opposed to what's right. Follow my initial advice and head over to the forums. The people there are friendly, and are willing to help out the new modder.
