Graphic Herbalism seems to ignore 'owned' for plants
I've just installed Graphic Herbalism and am trying it in OpenMW.
Seems like with Graphic Herbalism the fact that the plant is 'owned' is ignored. I can harvest owned plants all willy-nilly right in front of their owners. Once the mod is disabled, trying to harvest owned plants gets owners riled up as it was before (and as it is supposed to be).
The way Graphic Herbalism treats ownership seems less 'purist'. Is it tweakable?
Returning to this mod in 2022 because the new official way to do it (pluginless, using only meshes) doesn't handle respawning, and with openmw it means plants only respawn when the cell resets, which means 30 days without visiting the cell at all ! So most plants just never respawn, and it's a disaster for alchemy. With this mod you can set the respawn time to 7 days only for example to have more fun with alchemy ! I just go a missing mesh from this mod for the tamriel version for tr_flora_amanita_01.nif and tr_flora_amanita_02.nif. I used the tip on this page : https://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/forum/missing-textures which is to replace it with another nif, so not totally sure it's the right one, but it works well.
I'm sorry, how do you set the respawn? I wanted to uninstall this mod but I did manually and I'm afraid to screw up my files... I deeply regret installing this mod.
Hi, I'm the author, though I didn't upload it here (it's fine, I said it was OK to redistribute). They do grow back. I think the default time is 30 days, which is kind of long. You can change this by typing set MU_GH_DaysToRegen to 7 in the console. (7 meaning one week, you could use whatever duration you want.) As I warned about in the original readme, uninstalling the mod is tricky, because any plants currently disabled will stay that way. My only suggestion to fix this is doing the above with the number 0, and then visiting every cell where you may have picked plants. Not very convenient I admit.
Since this mod was made, Tamriel Rebuilt plugins names have been changed. You need to use the TR Filepatcher to fix this mods ESP so it's plugin can register TR's updated plugins.

Hi, awesome mod. I could be a total noob if so ignore. But with your TR patches the file TR_Data.esm is not included in the TR_Data downloads. Apparently it has been replaced by Tamriel_Data.esm in the latest versions.
