I made a version that still has the default value for Night Eye of 50 instead of being lowered to 20 if anyone is interested. Here's a link: nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/51400

Even though I'm not a Kajhit, I had to use the console command to get this spell: player->addspell "eye of night" and this mod made it even better. I'm running Morrowind Sound and Graphics Overhaul and it made the caves too dark, so this definitely helps a lot.
