I am the original Shade the Bandit, and I approve this mod.

Thanks for preserving my work, nice to know that someone found this mod useful!

I remember one time I engaged in conversation with a random Nord outside a Daedric ruin. I got him to a disposition of 100, and then I realized he normally would have been hostile. He was just chilling and pretty cool. I fiddled around with commands and the like to try to make him a follower but couldn't, so I left him there. Happy this mod exists! I love the idea of charming hostile NPC's and making them an ally instead.

Thanks so much for this mod. I've just started playing Morrowind again after many many years, and one of the things I really wanted to do was to pick up a NPC who I remember killing way back over 15 years ago. Her name stuck with me all these years, and I felt really bad - she was just a smuggler near Balmora named Lalaine Essagan, and I was hoping for a way to not only avoid killing her, but maybe become friends. This mod did exactly that (although a smuggler class -with their lack of any armor proficiency- is a rather irritating choice for a companion). I've had great adventures with people who were originally hostile, and if it wasn't for this mod I'm not sure if I'd still be playing Morrowind right now.

A quick question, though - is there any way to release a companion to go back to where they came from and walk around like they used to? They all just stand still waiting, and I feel bad that they can't get back to their normal lifestyle of patrolling a dungeon. Is there also any way to make following companions compatible with Improved Teleportation?

I found no way of releasing the companions but if all you want is for them to move around and do stuff, you can click on them in the console and put in "aiwander 100,5,0,0,20,0,0,10,30,0,0,0" (the first number is the range, so if you want them walking in a small interior i would suggest 100, if outside for example 400, if you want them to stand still and just yawn and stretch and stuff, set it to 0). Hope that works for anyone with the same issue :-)

So simple yet a key mod. A must have mod for slave abolitionists!
