Updated to work with MR 4.7.1. Using the mod with this version should result in no floating grasses.

I installed this mod, when I opened the game I get error messages saying that chunk sizes are too big.

Edit: Nevermind, I forgot that you needed to check it with the distant land generator

Could you please update this to support 4.8 Rebirth?

    That would be great.

    Thank you.

The Ashland grass file appears to be for an older version of Morrowind Rebirth with a different shaped landscape.. It can be safely deleted. The Ashlands look fine without grass anyway, and I still for some reason see a random tuft of generated grass or two in the Ashlands after removing the file, but they aren't floating! I use the following settings for statics. Static size 50 (actually effects how LARGE the meshes of the grass generated are, not how many, I was sick of seeing GIANT grass at 150.) and density at 17%. Looks great! Not too much giant grass, and fits in the landscape better. Vurt's corals and his Solstheim grass are also completely compatible, I believe. Hopefully, we will get an update of the ashland grass, then I think we will be golden as far as groundcover on Morrowind Rebirth.

When deleting the Ashland grass file, are you referring to Vurt's Groundcover - The Ashlands.esp or are you referring to just not using the second file listed here, the Ash Grass for Morrowind Rebirth.esp? I'm a little confused if I should be generating statics with all of Vurts Groundcover esps checked or....

Sorry for the late reply. Do not use Vurts ash grass cover with Morrowind Rebirth 4.6 or it will float. So will the grass file here.. There is no ashlands grass file compatible with Morrowind 4.6 that I know of. You still need to copy all of Vurt's "Data Files\textures" files into your textures directory.

You can delete the ashland grass files before generating distant land. You can use Vurt's coral and Vurt's Solstheim with Morrowind Rebirth though,. What you should do is make sure they are not checked in your load order, but are checked when you generate distant land. Same as the Morrowind Rebirth main grass file on this page. An easy way to do this is to make a folder such as "Data Files\grass" and move the .esp files into it. They will not show up in your load order, but there is a setting when creating distand land to show .esp files in subdirectories. You can hit that, then select all. Or you can just remember to have them deselected in your load order after creating the distand land. Ashland grass is unnecessary anyway. It's all barren landscape.

      Figured it out.

Install this mod (and the TR version) manually
drop both esp's in data files/grass
install vurts ground cover via NMM and uncheck all the esp's
manually run MGEXEgui (this manually initiates distant land)
run the distant land generator, be sure to check this mods esp and the TR version, also DO NOT check vurts esps during this step (vurts solsteim is ok to be checked that comes with mgexe) and run the generator.
use wyre mash to clean your save
bam. Ill up load a screenshot

      Should I also uncheck "Vurt's Groundcover - Reeds.esp"?

Sadly this doesn't take the redesigned cities into account and so they are full of clipping issues.
