This plugin is pretty much obsolete - if you install Morrowind Crafting (which is excellent, btw), you'll get a far more immersive, refined and reliable mechanic for lighting fires and placing bedrolls etc. I'd highly recommend it.
I actually really like the simplicity and functionality of this mod. It's exactly what's needed.
The only issue I have had is that I set the bedroll on the ground in Balmora, just to test it, without setting down the camp fire first. Then, I could not pick it up again until I made several attempts and put the camp fire down as well, and it duplicated several times in inventory. So I just sold the extra bed rolls.
Yup, the duplication thingy is a typical symptom of amateur script-writing (that'll be me). I'm flattered you like the plugin, though, and that you even took the time to comment. Treat yourself to one warm fuzzy feeling.
I love this mod. If I were to play Morrowind with only three mods, I'd choose this one along with Julan and the Moriel Balmora Apartment mod. There's something about the flavor EasyCamping adds that keeps me coming back, and I love that it's plug-and-go compatible with everything. It's never crashed my game or introduced weird scripting problems.
Why would I install a cumbersome mod with all sorts of crap I don't need or want? I just want to camp! Thank you, Laurence, for a fantastic mod.
I don't think this mod is obsolete. When I am hiking in national forest or state park and it starts getting later. The very first thing that doesn't pop into my mind, hey I need to cut down tree.

I'll agree with Shadeybladey (even though it's been over three years since they wrote their comment) that the simplicity and ease-of-use in this plugin is what attracts me to it and makes it a must-play in all of my games. I've never had a conflict, and there are no features that I dislike or want to delete. Since I'm a Mac player through Wineskin, there's not much I can do to modify my game re: load order or construction kit, so I have to take what I get, and this mod has no downsides. So thank you for making something I can use without fear knowing I'm adding immersion and fun to my game! :)
i tried installing this mod, but for some reason the game says the mod can't find the master file. i installed the mod exactly as the readme told me: put the file in the data files folder and activate it with the launcher. The mod works perfectly fine, expect for the warning i get at the main menu
Actually it probably says Morrowind can't find the same version of the master file or words to that effect.
The mod was created using a different version or localisation of Morrowind to the one you're using. You can use Wrye Mash (or TESTool) to update the plugin header of this mod and synchronise it with your copy of morrowind.esm. That'll get rid of the error.

Ok, there's this little duplication bug, but that's not a big issue in my opinion.
Thank you for the great work. =D
