This is a nice mod but when I tried downloading the required meshes you posted in the description, the pages were not found, and when you search for that mod specifically it forbids people who aren't premium from downloading it.
night time skies result in the galaxies being cut off at certain points and other spots are completely discolored, i have the files listed in the description as well.
Hello. As with the 5th February post below I'm at a loss, as unless there have been adjustments to the .nif file that the sky textures are applied to then there isn't anything that ought to change how the textures are applied as far as I know. Admittedly, I haven't played the game in a long time [years] and haven't kept up with any potential changes with MGE XE, if it is still under development even.
If it helps, here are the two .nif files that I have in the game directory from my install which were absolutely working with the texture files: sky_clouds_01.nif https://mega.nz/file/CF0wRZ4a#-DTA4S--9s6o1pMNFNYQXEoO05Xhr9SWty2QZZ0fuj4 sky_night_02.nif https://mega.nz/file/fMtEhDhb#LnpFnof3KFIhmA3ibKJQqPT6BaGdw5wCl6Rjjf7w5bg
They both ought to show as 4.3kb in size.
If these don't work however then I'm sorry, but I must admit I'm stumped as to why there would be a problem.
This mod looks epic from all of the pictures that I am seeing here, great work I love it! It looks like I have successfully installed the mod, but unfortunately, my cloudy skies from the start of the game look very stretched out, nothing like the photos posted here. I know 100% that they were installed, because the clouds are not the stock clouds from vanilla. I am using MGE XE, are there any additional settings that I need to take a look at? Any help would be much appreciated :)
Do you have the .nif meshes from the listed SWG Skies? That's the only thing that I can think of that would cause the textures to be stretched. If you have difficulty finding them, send me a message and I'll send you the files.
Very nice textures. Only change I made is copying the Rainy texture and renaming the duplicate 'Overcast'. Rainy sky texture looks overcast and ominous w/o rain.
My pc is weak as a kitten, will this mod have a significant impact on fps?
- Haven't had the chance to install and try it out yet because of a ridiculous schedule lately, planning on firing up morrowind again soon for the first time in many years. Thanks in advance peoples!
I'm on a toaster notebook. I haven't felt any fps loss with this one. In Balmora. Running Apel's rain replacer too. Of course, my little trick is to -not- get a landcape/building overhaul mod and just improve object, people, monster and sky. Game looks very nice and still seeing silky 55 to 60 fps.

I hope those work for you.
