I'm a new modder and was trying to get this for the Bethesda Launcher's version of Morrowind GOTY Edition. I downloaded the mod and extracted the files, placing the textures folder into Morrowind's data files, but nothing seems to have happened. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I love these textures so much! Just one thing I was hoping you might be able to fix to help my OCD lol... I noticed on tx_gl_rock_02.dds there are some white spots that are super blindingly bright and don't really blend into the terrain that well. Maybe they can be band-aided in photoshop? I tried opening the file in photoshop to do it myself but for some reason I cannot open the texture :( sadness...

    Anyways, thank you!

Just copy the "Textures" folder to Morrowind's "Data Files" folder and confirm overwrites. Regenerate Distant Land if you're using MGE XE.

I cannot seem to get this to work for the life of me. =/

    Here's my install process:
    - Install Morrowind via Steam
    - Install MGE XE via Nexus Mod Manager
    - Install this mod via NMM
    - Open MGE XE
    - Run the distant land generator
    - Ensure distant land is enabled
    - Open the game

I don't see any change. :( I tried disabling distant land, but even then I didn't see the textures.

Running in OpenMW. Looks beautiful! still at 60fps no problem!

    The Normal Mapped looks fantastic!

In your bloodmoon pack texture resolution is 2048*2048. Texture size is 5,33 MB. Isn't that wrong compression? In your 2k pack resolution is also 2048*2048, but the texture size is 2,66 MB.

You're right, I haven't updated the expansion textures yet. I will do when I find the time. :)
The weight is bigger because the textures use alpha channel which is useless. This problem will be resolved in the next update.

In this case Ordenador is your friend.
Will transform textures from DXT5 to DXT1c
This only applies to the Bloodmoon texture pack.
      Example:
      DXT5 2048x2048 => DXT1 2048x2048    (5461 Kb => 2730 Kb)  => Compressed

The not needed alpha channel is removed. No need to wait on a "fix" from the author.

PS I really do hope the author finds the time to give these textures the love it deserves.

After installing the base landscape retextures, do I merge, replace or rename the file when downloading the Bloodmoon and openMW files?

Hi, love your textures, been using them ages, but I've always had this problem. There's this sheen border that moves ahead of you, at least in Balmora: https://imgur.com/a/ZsrTRUB

I was told it was mip map issue.

Set mip map to linear instead of nearest
