Honestly, the concept is really nice, its just that its too op for me. I can now jump 10 meters high (running speed is a little too much too). Is there any way to tweak the jump height boost for the mod?

Agreed. I've always loved this mod, but the jumping gets really silly at high levels of acrobatics.

This is a bit overpowered. Running doesn't decrease stamina enough I think. I can run and run without ever getting even CLOSE to 75% left.

Isn't that the whole point of this mod? Jumping still drains your stamina, besides, having full stamina doesn't automatically make you land every attack, skills and agility are still priority

For those with similar criticism, the mod comes with three plugins (regular, extra and extreme). Maybe only checking the regular one will make things better, although it should be top priority when you install it for the first time.

Either way, I agree that it is a bit broken and some of the other changes seem redundant. All I really need is a slight boost in speed and perhaps stamina regen; I don't need it buffed to such an extent that I actually regen stamina while running.

i chose regular and stamina only decreases by one point when running, and never drains any further no matter how far has been run

edit: this was a mod conflict, i disabled this mod and kept the other one, now i have the desired effect, which is for walking to not consume stamina and be slightly faster than base game. this mod here does it all just unequip the ring you start with and put it back on, then take it off again and exit inventory with it off, youll see a menu pop up after exiting inventory, set speed to 100+
      called "morrowind better running"

edit2: if the better running mod does not clarify, you dont need the ring on for the effect, its only a way for the config menu to pop up, can store the ring or ditch it somewhere after you select desired setting with it

Better Fatigue Usage counters this by increasing the amount of fatigue that weapon attacks cost.

Besides that, encumbrance is a huge part of how Morrowind is balanced. Why shouldn't a wimpy wizard wear heavy armor? Because you'll be slow as hell *and* get tired rather quickly by wearing it, because encumbrance both directly affects your speed *and* how quickly your stamina drains. CarryOn is another mod which similarly improves quality of life while not completely breaking the game by doing so.

I hear you. Honestly, though, I think I could stand it for the brief time it would take me to get the Boots of Blinding Speed. Now the time it would take me to get a way to 100% magicka resistance, even briefly, in order to actually WEAR the boots...

Yeah, I might just use this mod.

It's still 2021, and I've been playing Morrowind since it came out. Still the best Elder Scrolls game, in my opinion. Even better with mods, and then using mods on OpenMW, and being able to properly use my PS5 controller. Very nice!

It's 2022 now and im starting Morrowind for the first time ever, and trying to alleviate all the horror stories i've heard over the years. Less fatigue issues, more movement speed, and less missing attacks. Hopefully it can work~

just stay away from the infamous Accurate Attack (that's my recommendation at least, it's a very controversial subject just look at the comments on it lol)

I'm pretty sure you get the point by now given it has been 6 years since your post but props for people answering questions for the community even if it has been years since they were first asked.  Spend more time helping than chastising those that do help in the future please.

This crap doesn't work. Stamina still goes down when i sprint and no speed bonus is seen. Useless mod, don't even try it. A fucking waste of time.

Just keep in mind that the most useless piece of hardware on a PC/console is sitting at the keyboard/controller...

I installed this, and my speed was just too fast. So, I uninstalled it. But my movement speed is the same. I can legit jump across the whole of Balmora, and I run at insanely fast speeds

So I love the idea behind those mod.  If were to make a suggestion, I'd reduce the amount of regeneration for the normal (non-extra or extreme) version so that there is still a noticeable drain in stamina over time.  As it stands, the regen is just too much for the sprint to even bring it down... if anything I wouldn't mess with the stamina regeneration and just the amount of drain the happens for sprint being like... halved.  Also a small increase to the walking speed.  I know you already did that, but another little boost would make it feel less like a serious compromise between sprinting and basic movement.

Really the running should just be for potentially getting away from threats or getting someplace quickly when you have a time constraint, but in this game it feels more like it's just to get away from how unbearably slow you move by default, which isn't fun.

This works well! The only thing I've found that changes the speed in sneak mode. That was intolerably slow. Now not as much! Thanks for this gem.

First time I downloaded Morrowind, I almost ragequit after 20 minutes of crawling. After downloading this mod, it's one of my favourite games.

Huge quality of life improvement. Makes the game playable. Makes exploring fun. This will never leave my load order. Wish I could endorse more than once. Thank you!
