1. DESCRIPTION

Awhile back I made a request thread on the Bethsoft forums. In that thread, I wondered why no one had added reflect maps to the windows in the game and I came to the conclusion that no one had thought of it, but now I am beginning to suspect it is more because this kind of work is incredibly tedious!

Thanks to help and advice from Chaka, Chainy, AOF, Fallen One, and Dirnae I've learned how to apply what I think are some attractive reflect and bump maps to .nifs. Now all that is left to be done is go through every single mesh with a window in the game and apply the appropriate maps to each.

3. Installation
--------------------------

RECOMMENDED: Use your mod manager of choice to install it, either Mod Organizer 2 or Wrye Mash will get the job done.

EXPERT: If you are too stuborn to use a mod manager, installing this mod ist still very easy; simply drag and drop the contents of this archive to your c:/.../morrowind/data files/ directory. "Copy and replace" when prompted (if you are at all), but realize that any replacers you had previously installed will be replaced by doing so.

Your saved games should not be effected by this mod.

4. Uninstallation

RECOMMENDED: Simply uninstall it with your prefered mod manager.

EXPERT: Uninstalling KN Windows manually is no more involved than most other Morrowind mods. If you decide you'd like to be rid of the new meshes and textures, consult this archive for the files you need to delete.

MYSTERIOUS TEXTURE AUTHOR
tx_glass_reena_01.dds is from Abot's Windows Glow Expansion. Abot doesn't know who made the texture, either. This texture is rather infamous as the meshes for KN Windows points to them but neither Abot nor myself know who the original author is!

ABOT
ex_nord_windows base meshes come from his windows glow expansion and are based on Bethesda stock. Originally these windows were wooden covers, he changed them to use the imperial glass texture and I added the maps to them!

GEMINI
His Imperial windows are included in this pack and are the basis for the bump maps of those windows!
