i may change the pants on this guy still though, i need to find the right combination...and the flame atronach, yeah, very strange, i think it should be female as well here...maybe someone will be able to change that eventually...
Going by the image it looks perfect...though I do find it weird that the flame types on oblivion are female and the ones in morrowind are male...still a bit confused on that :/
i realize what the texture should have (originally had) and what it has now, are different, but i made it that way for a reason...
its supposed to be different. and its supposed to enhance the shape of the model or make it look less blocky by making the textures work with the shapes instead of just cover them. often times the UV mapping is so bad on these models that they stretch the texture rather than fit it to the shape they are trying to cover...so to minimize the stretching and make it look better i have to do some weird things, like try other ways of texturing or adding ornaments where they were not before, or trial and error to remap the texture, or even completely taking the costume a character is wearing in a whole new direction...
if i had something like UV unwrap, i would have even gone further and made a custom texture map for the whole atronach that makes him completely ice instead of ice with leather armor...who knows i may still do that later. as far as pics go, i will get them up as soon as i can, but as i have said plenty of times before, bear with me, i can only be on this site for so long every day because i do have a regular job that takes most of my time, this is just a hobby. if you like it, thanks for the support, if not then maybe there are other mods for you...
