Good day, all. Oblivionaddicted, thank you for the great mod. I like how it redeems the two 'under-represented' powers: Absorb Magicka and Regenerate Magicka and how you've grouped them in the one mod +++. Would you hear out my suggestions, please: 1) Absorb Magicka amulets are great and could have variable chance of variable spell absorption. ...the names you could give them: 'Fizzled Fire' to 'Magi Mire' ...and the lore that could be connected to them! 2) Ditto - arms and armours. 3) Would you create a variant mod with Ring of Wizard's Willpower not so powerful. It seems 400 charges times 100 points is a bit of an overkill. Such a precious power really ought to require more frequent charging, oughtn't it? BTW, where is it the Ring is sold? Consider the usual progression: I have to develop Enchantment skill to 100 then to fortify it to 130 to get my enchanted items insta-recharging whereas the Ring's out-of-the-box stats would discourage all this, you see. 4) Ditto, the Ring of the Ayleid Well. I'd take 1 point per second. Also too, where would I look for it? 5) Vendor placement-wise, I hope it is compatible with BCoM and with TotSP & TWWotLM. Best
1- I don't get what you mean, spell absorption is random by nature. The limitation of letters in the names restricts the possibilities but I'll think about new names should I release an update 2 - You can easily create objects for you in the CS and there are probably many tutorials 3 - This ring comes handy if you use a mod with tough enemies like my Very hard respawning Morrowind enemies and having more charges than what you need can't harm by the way 4 - With an in-game enchantment you would get a 4 to 5 points constant magic regen with an exquisite ring so the enchantment is fair especially with very tough enemies. 5 - What do these acronyms mean?
In the description I wrote "I added a rat in the wilderness just beside of the bridge leading to Vivec's telvanni quarter"
I do, yes. Aha, I see your direction - tuFF tools for tuFF encounters :=). BCoM - Beautiful cities of Morrowind; TotSP - Tomb of the Snow Prince; TWWotLM - The White Wolf Of The Lokken Mountain. The Rat says all is alright, though :=)
This mod added a spell "Minor magic absorption 4 pts" to all/most NPCs in my install such that in combat they would spam this low level magic absorb spell and not actually do combat. It's a touch spell and often they try to use it ranged, standing there spamming the spell without engaging. Took me a while to figure out which mod was doing it.
I apologize for this problem I could not anticipate which is due to the way Morrowind was destitutely made from a technical point of view. I have hopefully fixed this issue and even if I understand your frustration you could have had the politeness not to make advertisement for another mod on this page. Other modders would surely have blocked you from all their content for it.
Hello, What I politely advertised was a solution for any other players who may need it - I wouldn't expect a modder to jump to an update for an old mod like this but I'm glad you have. Hopefully it's no longer a concern since you hopefully fixed it. Happy Holidays.
Was looking for something like this, making it a spell/enchantment effect that's as expensive as Restore Health is a much more elegant solution than handing out free magicka regen like other mods imo.
If you use it as a constant effect enchantment only and don't use the spells that restore more than they cost, that is.
"One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more information."
For whatever reason, Oblivionaddicted made the master file MORROWIND.esm, rather than the correctly named Morrowind.esm.
I've run into the same issues, and I'm working on trying to fix it myself. Unfortunately, half the links to the mod editors have expired or are otherwise forbidden.
The mod isn't working for me. I believe I installed it correctly. But when I pull up my OpenMW Launcher the mod doesn't appear in the list. I don't know what the issue is. The only thing I can think of is that the download file only has an .esp and nothing else inside.
Hey, I played Morrowind with this mod applied a couple of years ago, and I really appreciated the tasteful implementation. I reapplied it with a few more modern mods, however, and can't get it to work. I go to J'Rasha in Vivec, and he doesn't have the spell for sale. I tried opening the file in the Construction Kit, and I can get it to open, but the other magic esp's that are more complex won't - it crashes to desktop whenever I try to open them. I've reordered my mod list so that this one loads after the others, but there is no change. I was wondering where I could be going wrong.
I did manually add the spell to the player's spellbook as in the readme using the console, but it's annoying to have to go that far to get the spell.
Would it be alright to ask for a version of this mod that's compatible with Magicka Expanded? I'm unsure of it's possibility and I'll make the same request of the ME mod authors, but I would really appreciate it.
With a constant 5 points regeneration? I can do this easily.
Sorry for the late reply.
EDIT: I initially planned to add a ring with a closer price of what would have to pay with an in-game enchantment but even if Morrowind features objects that cost 120000 septims the price was tricky to set so I gave the constant restoration ring a very fair 52501 price against 125000 for the same enchantment in-game. I could make it available for sale through a topic with a fixed price but I suppose everybody prefers the traditional barter menu. As a bonus I added another ring with a 100 points restoration on use by the way.

EDIT: It's from Soti's kung-fu collection

Any ideas?

Don't know what can cause this by the way.
EDIT: Which program do you use by the way?
Morrowind.esm appears this way when I look at the required files using Wrye mash.
Did you manually install the plugin of your choice?

If yes you probably have a conflict with another mod, at worst type player->addspell RegainMagieMineur5-6 and you'll be fine.
