Hmm is this procedurally generated? While it's great that the work was put into this, I have grass all in town where people are walking all over so it ruins the immersion.
Not sure if this mod is causing the problem, but I've just added Tamriel Rebuilt and this mod. When I try to generate distant lands, MGE gets a fatal error and has to be shut down. I tried disabling this mod and the TR mods from the MGE list, and it still crashed. Now I have no grass anywhere. Has anyone had this problem? I can't seem to fix it.
Edit: Just disabled this mod and the TR mods and ran MGE again. Seems like it worked this time around. Is this mod being out of date possibly causing the crashes?
Okay, so I have followed the instructions in the readme, and I see no grass in TR. I also noticed that the render distance is much shorter now that I've re-created the distant lands per the instructions. I'm running Morrowind Overhaul 3.0, and that's it. Any advice?
Okay, I figured this out for myself. For others having the same trouble:
1. Drop the Grass_Mainland_Knots.esp file into your Morrowind Data folder 2. Open Morrowind Overhaul 3.0 MSGO Options executable. 3. Hit the MSGO Options Button (not the MGE Options Button). 4. Find the MGE Tab and open that. 5. Make sure your MGE option is set to MGE XE. 6. Run the MGE distant lands generation normally from that point and it will work!
One last note; many, Many, MANY of the lands added by Tamriel Rebuilt have NOT have the grass meshes added as of this writing. I was getting quit confused wandering around Tel Oren and Ranyon-ruhn looking for grass as I tried to trouble shoot. Check the area around Firewatch to see if your grass is growing... apparently sometimes it really is greener on the other side (yuk-yuk)!
