Anyone figured out how to fix the choppy animations when in third person? You also cannot walk with A and D when transformed/metamorphosed.
Would love to play a druid/shapeshifter "class" but this is legit the only mod next to the basegame Werewolf that offers shapeshifting, and I could not figure out by looking at the esp how to create a transform spell myself.
Wenn i tell my vampire follower from vampire embrace to transform into a wolf or bat she becomes invisible. I can't speak to her again. Even the console can't detect her. But she is still there. She blocks the way and she can attack and be attacked. If she dies the body turns back and is visible again. Does anybody know how i get it working correctly? If i transform myself it works just fine.
Solution: Your vampire follower get shrunk down. They are smaller than a goldcoin. You need to find them on the ground. Open the console. Klick on your follower. He wont have his normal name. It's something like vampire follower. Then type setscale 1 into the console. Your follower will be the normal size in the form that you have choosen. To turn him back just talk to him and say turn back.
I didn't remember most walking transformations (all ?) have a drain speed 1000 effect attached to them, making their animation choppy and you don't actually gain any speed by transforming into them, so these transformations become actually useless... The bat form is great, no speed drain here, you are too fast to be attacked, but creatures run after you and catch up once you turn back in human form ! (it would really be better if you didn't get attacked in this form) Mind scan / rip is clearly a vampire spell, if you are not a vampire it gets really tricky to steal a spell from an npc, unless you know you'll have to kill this one and he has an interesting spell, so you can try to steal it at the beginning of the fight, otherwise good luck because you'll need to find a way to imprison him 1st or at least make him totally hopeless 1st, but story wise it's quite immersive. Plus these spells require a high illusion level, you'll get this more easily as a vampire.
So in human form these are mostly useless for me now, too bad... !
edit : actually the choppy animation was from an old archive of this mod I had, from 2014, don't remember where it's from, the one linked to this page still has the drain speed 1000 effect, but the animation is smooth and the transformation reacts normally to the run key, so they are useful after all. Now it's really too bad that when you turn into a nix hound you are still attacked by nix hounds, this might be the biggest drawback of this mod after all...
What does this do? What are better bodies? Better how? Link doesn't work.
Hey Ziggy, better heads and better bodies are texture replacers that change the vanilla look (kinda fugly) bodies and heads into something much more aesthetically pleasing. I use and recommend the better bodies zw version available on the nexus site. You should try them out. As for scripted spells...they are jus some really awesome spells to make gameplay more entertaining and are even required for some mods like vampire embrace...hope this helps, hit me up if you have any more questions.
Are you using Asiron's Excellent Magic Sounds? It's part of MGSO. Scripted Spells relies on detecting the sounds when magic is used, a mod like Asiron's which changes those sounds will stop Scripted Spells from working.
If that's not it then try running mlox, it may point something else out. Otherwise post your current mod list (you can copy & paste from mlox) and the contents of your warnings.txt file.
Man, Wall Of Bones is just freakin' great. I just spam it on god mode and make mazes so enemies can't even move, in addition to being whacked by a bunch o' skellies. It's just great.
