i can't believe Bethesda used to be based and release free mods for their own games
some of them are absolute worth it gems:

female armor meshes - good fix
Master index - poorly designed fast travel quest
Adamentium armor - more or less what medium armor needed

    also sound fix :)

now all of it would be 20$ in creation club later include in stupid pay twice edition for 30$/60$

A lot of it was, especially among the ones from its initial release.

lmao yea they hired some modders because they would work cheap and then they told the modders that they couldn't have any voice acting

This seems to screw up the leveled lists in Tamriel Rebuilt (specifically using the compilation version). Any ideas? Load order issue..?

Did you create a multipatch (AKA: merge Levelled Lists) using tes3cmd?

I'm sligtly concerned because I'm about to begin a plathrough of Tamriel Rebuilt whilst using the merged compilation of all official plugins file from this page.

While I don't personally care much for the master index plugin, it 'does' genuinely make me miss when Elder Scrolls was an intelligent series that appealed to nerds. Now it's a moronic hack and slash setting for idiots.

I was so excited to play tesonline but it nearly killed my love of tes.

      @finalstarmanreal

In my view, no game in the series after Morrowind is 'legitimate' Elder Scrolls. I see it all from Oblivion on as increasingly bad works of fan-fiction.

I mildly disagree, @Debatemaster1. Oh, I completely agree with your main point, that Morrowind is best ES game to date. I just like Skyrim more than I like Oblivion, is all. Nothing to say about ESO. I play on linux; can't ESO there. I own an Xbox 360 for Skyrim, but no ESO there. Heard lots, like a few artists' screenshots. Not actually played. I understand they have microtransactions. Always a bad sign - not that I don't play games with those; I do indeed.

Don't use vortex with morrowind it's s#*! and hardly anything ends up working properly through it
when modding morrowind I recommend installing everything manually [unless it has an installer]

TheGauger is right about Vortex but installing mods manually will create problems for you later on unless you keep a detailed log of everything you add and/or edit.
This is the current version of the mod manager that was initially developed for Morrowind, and has been updated by Polemos .

MO2 is my go to, but it doesnt like to work with me on Linux, so I just mod manually (and I completely restart every time I mess up XD)

After downloading this mod I tried out the Siege at Firemoth. Everything is double. Double the baddies, double the companions, double the meshes (though only noticeable in a few spots), double the loot(thankfully), and double the Grurn *The Grurns smile at each other before blasting me into oblivion*. How do I do simple math and turn 2 Grurns into 1 Grurn?
