Thank you for mod uploader and description writer.
I dont understand how to install or use this mod, but it gave me idea to manually change the view distance. Before reading this description i thought that view distance in game and view distance in MGEXE distant lands is one and the same thing. Now tinkering with those two distances i realized that distant land removes the fog from far landscape distances and view distance in game changes kinda close-by shader, object and extra render drawing.
So i learned that view distance in-game changing can be a big fps booster in cities and in populated areas if you dont need to see every detail, just get to a certain location without having very low and head/eye-hurting fps. Endorsement from me to this mod for that.
It worked fine just yesterday, but now I'm getting "Morrowind process is NOT FOUND" even while the game is open, saw someone had the same problem in the forum but they didn't really answer how to fix it... anyone know?
Oh ok now I understand what they said. Anyone else having this problem, right click on the FPS optimizer exe, go to properties, then compatibility, then run it compatibility recommended settings.
okay i don't understand, how does this work? does it mess with how mge xe changes morrowind? what's its interactions with other base level mods and additions like mcp and mwse and optimization mods?
Does anyone else who uses FPS optimiser find their in-game options resetting themselves once a week or so? If so does anyone know how to stop / fix it?
This mod is great! You have to tinker with some stuff, I feel like im getting the view distance i want! Only issue i have is it seem to of done something with my UI (weapon/spell slot and mini map) where they are now a little higher up on the screen rather the bottom corners.
Monitor: 16:9 ratio 1920x1080 and video settings are set as such.
Edit: it seems now despite having full screen, my "game window" where my mouse can go (up and down) does not go to the bottom of my screen or top like theres an invisible line there and when i get hit that much of the "game window" has the red effect. Hard to describe but hope that helps.
